You should have immediately switched to melee at the end after first bomb throw. The bombs stagger the enemy and gives you a few seconds to get into melee to deny them their ranged advantage. When you stand there and wait until all bomb loads are thrown you allow the Streltsi to keep shooting and play directly into their hands. Even without the game error of Ironsworn not throwing for a while. Ironsworn might have won.
Ok, here's a new proposal: Armoured Kossars (axe and shield) vs Chaos Warriors of Khorne (axe and shield) Round 1 = regular clash Round 2 = powered up by Frost Blades Round 3 = Overcast Frost Blades
Perhaps the better Kislev strategy would have been to keep the Strelsi in the front and, once engaged, charge in the other units. If the Ironsworn were wasting their bombs on the Streltsi and not the AP Greatweapons... well. Then again, technically the best idea would be to have the guns shoot, and then charge in the other units as the guns reposition to shoot on the flank.
I think utilozing full range of Streltsi and then falling behind a frontline unit once it got bombed would be most fair use of Kislevite units. Gun units suffer from obstruction heavily and its tough to say they even were engaged for the most part.
@@QualityGames-ql1jc that's the thing, unlike Imperial crossbowmen f.e. Guns units are not meant to shoot over the frot line units unless they are aiming at an unobstructed thing, like a Giant. Once the engagement starts you can see that , for the most part, Streltsi are dormant.
@@SaruyamaPL Sorry, apparently I confused the comments or misread this one :D Agreed on what you say. There were some single shots from the units on the sides but not many.
Thanks for the comment. The idea was that they would throw the bombs - which they did not... :) But agreed that charge would have worked better there most likely.
İts great that ironsworns did their value against an anti infantry armor piercing elite unit and an unit with armor piercing missles togehter
Agreed on that. :) Thanks for the comment

Thanks for the comment. Yea, the same crossed my mind when the units stood there being fired at :)
I think that giving the streltsi a better firing angle would have changed the outcome.
Thanks for the comment. Fully agreed on that. :)
@@QualityGames-ql1jc Maybe we could get another test? ^_^ I love your stuff.

Thanks for the comment. I will add that to To-Do list :)
Hmm... Patriarch's prayers would be also interesting.

Good demonstration of problem with powder units, can't shoot over their allies.
Maybe it's time to find out "how good Infernal Ironsworn are..."
Just have them flank when possible.🤷♂️
I guess it is so :) Thanks for the comment
Not without tactics.
Might be difficult :) Thanks for the comment

Ah, but they remained behind for the whole battles. They can shoot above the infantry ;) Thanks for the comment

Wait...gunpowder troops actually firing over their allies? This never happens in my games...only until half the unit is dead and gone.
They seem to do it at longer ranges. Thanks for the comment :)
where my streltsi flank :(
No tactics in this one. Agreed that it would have helped quite a bit :) Thanks for the comment
They didn’t charge the streltzi, you let them stand around taking free shots

Did "By our Blood" never trigger?
Imo it did in every battle. Thanks for the comment :)
Wow infernal ironsworns!
What a unit ❤
I love it!
Rather cool one :) Thanks for the comment
Here to root for the brave kislevites!
Who received another nerf just recently...
It clearly helped in the last one as the Chorfs got confused :) Thanks for the comment.
@@Rakiael07 yea, I saw... Very sad :(
and this test further shows why I almost NEVER recruit Streltsi. They feel so underwhelming to me, even against units of the same tier as them.
Hmm, imo the shields of the ironsworn helped them quite a bit too. Thanks for the comment :)
Yes streltsi really need a buff
The strelsky are to weak i never use them.
Kislev ist Missing their bears charging Their Back after destroying the Chaos dwarfs arty.
Thanks for the comment. That would have gotten the job done :) Thanks for the comment.
