How stupid were the guys of Sneaker Pimps for leaving Kelli, they could have been really famous, actually was Kelli the reason why they were successful with the band, through the album where she's the vocalist. She sings awesome.

They found her in a bar singing and she was HIRED to sing on the album. She only sang; she didn’t write any of the songs- only contributed to a couple of the B-sides. It was strictly business; and when the album was done touring, she left to peruse her solo career. With this being said, as I mentioned before, I totally agree that they would have been bigger if she stayed, but that’s the thing- people fell in love with them because of her, and they grew attached to her funky personality and vocals. Taking her away and replacing the vocals is like stripping the bands personality away, especially since Chris took a darker turn on the next album- which I absolutely LOVE. Both albums are beautiful in there own way!

Keli has just an infamous career by guys who want in on her space. Honestly, they'd been better off putting the mic addressing the audience/camera, get rid of the guy trying too hard, & have the song shaped around her. Because everything I hear her in is just fucking mesmerizing.

Erm, it's his tune and Kelli is the guest vocalist for the duet, not the other way around :) The studio version is on his album, "Open All Night". I'm not convinced this live-in-the-studio version comes together 100%, but the studio version is pretty great :)
Didn't like Almond's singing here but this isn't trip hop either. Kelli's sound was good, yet she should be singing with Sneaker Pimps and the EGO leaving behind music. This would sell today in a huge way because it is the music that fills the gap between Alternative and Hip Hop and the gap between Pop and Metal. The fans don't make these decisions, yet the fans do pay for the concerts and fund future music projects.
