The fact that she enrolled for Stanford from Asia's high school is inspiring. And she survived the college without any prior coding experience. She must be really good.
Just FYI, "International" high schools in countries like Korea and China are top tier high schools where all the classes are taught in English and by best teachers. Normal folks and locals cannot even attend these schools. You have to be children of expats, wealthy, influential, etc. to attend these high schools. And yes, graduates from these high schools tend to have high acceptance rate to top universities. But I agree she seems to be very good & smart regardless.
She went to Western Beijing. It is the school where elites of China go to. Her enrolling into Stanford is the equivolent of an Eton College grad getting into Stanford.
Love your videos you have such great sense of humour, please keep up the awesome work. I really hope this channel will become really successful. Much love from Germany
Great video Joma. It helps people like me who are planning to engage in software development to know the industry well. And your videos are always full of information and fun. Thanks.

I really give Joma props for persevering and eventually breaking Sunmi's "guard" and now they're really good friends. It's almost..... cute. WAIT NO I GOTTA STOP THIS THINKING
Great video Joma 👍. Sunmi seems to be a very clever and sincere person. Good luck with her 👨🏻. If she graduated high school in Beijing, that means she can speak at least three languages (Korean, Chinese, English) with ease. So I do appreciate the people who continually develop themselves like her. That's impressive tho.

Your videos are interesting. I am now studying in a community college in WA. I intend to get a transfer degree here, but when I saw the estimated tuition fee for 2 years in university, I realized that I don't have that much money. Do you think I should take 2 years degree in computer programming and then start my OPT? Is there any chance that I can get hired? At Stanford, undergraduates can major in any major. You don't have to be admitted to a certain school to pursue a desired major. It's a big advantage for anyone going there.
