I worked in a city landfill back in the early 90's and one afternoon a pickup came in pulling a really nice boat which probably could pull 4 skiers at a time. I don't know much about boats but this one was probably 7 or 8 years old and it looked brand-new. I pulled over close to ask the guy driving the pickup if he had something in the boat he was going to unload. He said no that the boat was what he wanted compacted. It had water dripping out of the in board motor. I laughed thinking he was joking but he was going through a pretty bad divorce and he said he didn't want his soon to be exwife to get anything of his that he enjoyed. He said him and his brother who was with him took it out for a couple of hours that morning one last time before bringing it to the landfill. I had an audience by the time he unhooked it from his pickup to watch me crush it. It was the most fun I ever had running a compactor. I worked in that landfill for almost 3 years and it was unbelievable some of the things thrown away by people.
Did that once for a friend on his property with my dads equipment and a two by four shot up bounced off the hood and busted tne windshield crawler was about a week old and dad wasnt happy.

@@mikeznel6048 it's obvious to me you don't know your ass from a hole in the ground you damage that tilt cylinder and boom the seals are ripped out of it and your pouring hydraulic fluid and i have never seen a aluminum radiator stronger than a piece of steel. @@nateb8818 built for that 😂 ok. Guess you have rebuilt those tilt cylinders and know how much they cost. And the cost to replace the fan and radiator when something spears threw it. Yes you can build that machine to the specifications you want but that's a standard d6 with a waste blade nothing different than a just changing blades. The compactor sitting there would have chopped it up even better dozer=low ground pressure. Compactor=high ground pressure.
The shear power of that machine is incredible!!
That dozers hydraulic lines and such will be torn all to hell before long
