My Incredible Joe Nall 2024 Experience

- For over 15 years, I've been captivated by tales of a grand annual gathering where enthusiasts from across the globe come together to celebrate their passion for RC aviation. From majestic warbirds to thrilling 3D aerobatics, and from sleek electric planes to the roaring turbine jets, if it's a model airplane, it finds a home here!
This year, my lifelong dream of joining this spectacle finally came true at Joe Nall 2024. Over the past few days, I met lots of great people, talked all things aviation, witnessed some jaw-dropping flights, and got to fly a few different planes too!

I have been to 20 Joe Balls with my late friend of 28 years Steve Bollinger.We built a lot of model airplanes together.My life isn't the same without him .
A lot of great upcoming 3d pilot's that are going to give Jase a run for his money. It was great to see you flying at this event as well:) killing it!!!

@petedanis4459 Ya man. Jase Dussia. I've been following and learning from him over the years. Being involved with extreme flight aircraft he got a lot of deserved camera time. There are a lot of kids and adults now that have put in the work and are just as good as Jase it's definitely an exciting time in Rc Aerobatics

Greetings from Brazil! This event is a work of art! Here in Brazil, the biggest event we have at this level is FESBRAER, which features renowned pilots from all over the country, including Argentine pilots! I hope to experience this event one day! hug

My brother and a friend was at Joe Nall this year, Unfortunately they were only able to stay 1 day and that was on the 16th. Anyway, the jet at 0:56 after it landed, something went wrong and it crashed into another plane and hit the chairs my brother and friend were using.

Yes! Jase did a ton of flying with the Raven and the Cap. And totally agree with you, I really enjoyed watching him fly. Never gets old.
Just too many people there for my taste. We fly a sailplane contest at Triple Tree the week after Joe Nall. It's so nice when there are only like 100 of us. Not that I wouldn't want more people to come, I'm just not a crowd person.
Got to see you at Nall, but had to go back to work, so missed a lot of the fun. Maybe next year. I have question as regards FrSky ESC, and reverse thrust. Have you had any experience with the Neuron 2 series and are you able to help?

Well, I was planning on attending this event, but, this shady@$$ed ex-buddy had other ideas...He was gonna act like he was going to only drop me off in the middle of nowhere and abandon me...Glad I didn't go with this fool...Will tryn attend maybe next year...

Great stuff, in '91 I went to Byron for the first day, but stayed for the full week! Their "War in the Pacific" maybe called something else was stunning to say the least! heaps of flames and explosions! Even we saw the very beginning of FPV by a bunch of young fellas. The assortment of aircraft power was HUGE from a single 049 and 12 inch wingspan to b29 FOUR 80 cc Gassers! on what looked like 20ft span ua-cam.com/video/eUtB7Jnaeac/v-deo.html
No doubt those 3D pilots are talented .....BUT....being a full scale pilot, they dont even look like an aircraft, may some kind of machine or something.......Same thing with helis just not my thing
Ok I agree with the helicopters 🚁 I don’t like watching them at all
I don't care for 3D Scale flight is the enjoyment of RC flight for me
Just about all 3d airplanes are modeled after the full scale airplane
@@440centerline Ya scale is the look of aviation.....when the aircraft does things that a pilot could not do or survive, its just NOT flying
@@shelleibach20 Who wants to watch someone go in circles over and over? The 3D pilots are the ones that really put on the shows! I'm not trying to hate, i'm just stating facts. If it's not your thing then don't watch but no there is no reason to call it NOT flying because those guys are WAY more talented than your scale pilots by far! Like it or not but its true.
