The first ten years of my life I was raised in a cult. The Lord didn't heal this part of my life until I was 68 and finally found a counselor who understood DID/MPD. You are so right when you say the church doesn't want to deal with the abuse. I am grateful for the healing the Lord has done in my life. What truth? She is using the abuse to continually cause disparagement to the CROSS of Christ. Christ takes all of the pain, all of the shame and anything else and restores the soul I KNOW I was abused sexually by my great - grandfather when I was only 2-3 etc. Christ healed and restored my soul completely. I left the Baptist church I had belonged to because of their almost idolization of that horrible man who used to be the president. It was totally and unbearably disgusting to see people who claimed to love Christ so ardently support him. Beth, I am the same age as you. I've dealt with a good deal of trauma in my own life, including rape. Gang rape. I also have always known about Jesus and knew I wanted to live my life for him. That being said, because I do know my Bible, I knew the only person to vote for was President Donald Trump. It saddens me deeply that you can't see why.. The picture is much much bigger than our trauma. I can't for the life of me understand why you would vote otherwise. I totally agree with Beth. We need the transforming work of God within the church to protect the vulnerable. And to speak up on behalf of the abused by those in power. What I don't understand is why she's so vocal about Donald Trump's sexual misconduct, but is silent about Joe Biden's. No one's talking about Tara Reade's accusations. Or about how Joe Biden's own daughter wrote in her diary about how she and her dad took creepy showers together. Why call out one and not the other? I think that's a fair question.

Beth, I am the same age as you. I've dealt with a good deal of trauma in my own life, including rape. Gang rape. I also have always known about Jesus and knew I wanted to live my life for him. That being said, because I do know my Bible, I knew the only person to vote for was President Donald Trump. It saddens me deeply that you can't see why.. The picture is much much bigger than our trauma. I can't for the life of me understand why you would vote otherwise. Or anybody that calls them selves Christian to vote for the democratic party of today. I do wish you well though.

Bless you! I was raped as well and the trauma followed me for years until I faced it and gave it to JESUS. I have been a Beth Moore follower until she took her trauma out on Trump. No one is without sin. GOD is the one who judges and we are to forgive all not some but all! Beth has done great work for the LORD and it saddens me that she is stuck and carries such animosity. When people find out the evil that has really been going on they will be shocked. I didn't care for Trump and when he won I was shocked as I am Canadian and I thought American's lost their collective minds. Then GOD spoke to me loudly! Trump is who GOD chose. I am faithful to GOD not Trump and if GOD said it I believe it. He is not a man that he should lie. I then wondered what relationship Beth has with the LORD if she doesn't know that Trump was who GOD chose. I have a relationship with GOD and when he speaks I listen. He told me Roe vs Wade would be overturned and many Christians laughed at me when I told them. He did it! His promises are true. I pray for Beth for deliverance. She addressed this in her interview. She spoke in generalities, still sheltering to a degree her tormentor. She wanted to reveal him for who and what he was. Unless you've been victimized in such a way, you don't know. You need more grace beloved. Much more grace. God gives it freely, so should we.

I totally agree with Beth. We need the transforming work of God within the church to protect the vulnerable. And to speak up on behalf of the abused by those in power.
What I don't understand is why she's so vocal about Donald Trump's sexual misconduct, but is silent about Joe Biden's. No one's talking about Tara Reade's accusations. Or about how Joe Biden's own daughter wrote in her diary about how she and her dad took creepy showers together. Why call out one and not the other? I think that's a fair question.
She does not have to voice an opinion on every politician to make her personal point-can you understand why? It might be her desire to follow her purpose & not create controversy!

He was evil, put on a good front and people didn't know how emotionally abusive to was to me, not to mention a male chauvinist. I agree,,,,she wrote a very critical article in a well known secular magazine The Atlantic just as Trump was running for office and many Christian leaders were backing him for President after the Obama years. They honestly felt that he would have good results for America and he did just that. She seemed bent on talking with hatred against Trump because of his life before that time. She would have done better to stay out of it. No one asked her to vote for him. I believe she did a great deal of harm at that time and I have never read that she repented of those actions.
