    Thanks for sharing. I can get good prices on Persian turquoise in the UAE. I am looking for ideas for a belt buckle. I can take it to the gold souk and have it set. I can get Egyptian too, but the Persian is the best. CG Wallace's belt buckle looks a lot like Egyptian turquoise.

      Dubai has been a center for import and export to Iran especially following the departure of many Iranian business people following the revolution in the 1970’s.
      Turquoise identification, without provenance, is difficult because there may be different looks from the same mine and the same look from different mines.
      The evidence of C.G. using Blue Gem is found in Part Two and I read a bit of the research backing that in the video.

      @@turquoiseinamerica3164 It is frustrating without provenance. Art antiques etc. In the end it is worth what people are willing to pay. Provenance does add to value, definitely keep record of any Native American artist involved in the endeavor when buying. Hopefully the days of picking up pieces at pawnshops near reservations is over.
