They should have just used the metric system when translating. Looking at random number of feet is even more annoying. I think that most Americans/those that use the imperial system can get an understanding of how far a meter is.
Yeah that was weird, like 'he's not actually expecting that level of accuracy is he?' And then I checked the conversions and it's a normal round number.

I wanna know why the decision was made to make the vehicle RWD. The toughest rally in the world, chances of getting stuck is pretty much guaranteed, why not make it an AWD car?
The car class they're racing in is 2WD. Pretty impressive for a 2WD you'd have to say too.

Dakar has a long history of awesome buggies. Apparently Peugeot went with the 2WD class because it's a lot more open and they could build a car that could handle the dunes better. They were right. Goes back to 2014. Check this write up...

RWD cars have the advantage of bigger tyres, unlimited suspension travel and electronically controlled tyre pressures

seems like most of there problems stem from the fact that they have a RWD vehicle instead of AWD. makes no sense when they're in the desert in super mushy sand. but whatever.
read up on Dakar rules. The only person it doesn't make sense to is you.
