Ok so I stop buying more then 2 booster boxes (collect and to open), because I noticed I wasn’t pulling anything. I’ve pulled 3 enchanteds from blisters. I kinda got lost in the video, but the rounded edge back cards were blisters or fro the trove?
This certainly explains why I've opened boxes worth with only one enchanted and others are getting them, seemingly, by the truckload. Or, it's just my luck. I just don't want to stand at the store weighing packs while people walk by and will call anyone out if I ever see them doing that.
As you should. I think the hit “rate” is the same. Like, they’re still 1 in every 100 or so packs. But you can just have better luck with multiples on these sleeved packs. Or you can go on dry runs like I did with the first chapter!
So I ran into this with packs I weighed too. It works when you get 2 high weights (not sure if that makes sense but pack and sleeve). Because if the sleeve weight was lower it'd be hard to tell. In other words this occasionally can happen but I think out of weighing (guess) maybe 500 of these you could only pull this off a couple times (hopefully no more than that haha).
It'd be interesting to see a difference between rounded and rigid corners. Is there a significant weight difference between the two versions? That might be a wildcard in this equation that may balance things out a bit more. Edit: Good analysis; I'm thinking there's something to be said about the print quality of each individual card as well per batch; maybe try weighing each enchanted you hit (one from the light pack and one from the heavier pack)?
I tried to show that in the video a bit but I don’t think my scale is quite sensitive enough. The square ones seemed to be varied .02 in weight between each other, so that could lead to variable .00 or .04 weight differences in the packs because of those two cards, which I think helps a bunch.
Really interesting results here! Does your Target charge MSRP $5.99 per pack for your sleeved blisters? I found that my local game store charges MSRP but my big chain stores around here charge a $1 more each
It depends how quickly they get “fixed” honestly. For example, I collected all of first chapter before any new printings, so for that I didn’t have them included because I finished the master set first. For this set unfortunately for me and my wallet I guess I will try haha
The number on the box 3183CM. 318 is the day of the year. The 3 is referencing 2023. So they were printed Nov 14

@@Pokelou502 I'm definitely going to get some more sleeved packs for my next round. 😁

Does this mean we've got a part 3 for weighing videos coming? ;)
If those dates on the boxes means anything, it could mean it was printed on August 13, 2023 on the card machine it was printed off.

Target is 5.99 here, yeah. Walmart and meijer are 6.99
Great video and information
For your master sets do you care about the erratas or no?

Sir, waiting for your set 4 master set video!! Hope you will be back soon 🫶
Really miss your content man! Maybe another master set video is in the works but otherwise hope you're doin alright
I would say it’s still too inconsistent to weigh.
In the sleeves I’d agree. Loose packs I guess I’d still be cautious if I didn’t know where they came from
Hail Hydra! 😂
