I just started my oldest on her first Pokemon journey and she's had the opportunity to rip her first pack just yesterday. I can't imagine what she would do seeing all these holos and the stunning artwork. I made it to the end of the video and loved the chill vibe without all the shouting and yelling.
1:02:46 made it to the end! I think you should put the master ball on top of the regular card. It lets you keep track of the cards you're missing easier, and it would also feel more like a master set than putting the masterball cards over the pokeball cards, making it hard to tell if you have both pokeball and masterball or only one. This set looks really exciting, especially as someone who is just getting into the Pokemon scene. I think the second idea that you mentioned where you put the Masterball on top of the non-holo is a good idea. Keep it up!

I’m just getting back into Pokemon after 5 years, and it’s been fun seeing everything I’ve missed! I really like that you show the binder, especially because I’ve noticed that there’s a lot of people who keep the rare ones and throw everything else away :( Ik it’s always been that way but I feel like there are more now than before, or maybe was just too young to notice back then. And speaking of the binder, I’d vote for continuing with the way you have it now because like you said, the pokeballs are easier to get 👍 very nice video I look forward to seeing more
So glad youtube decided to show me videos from your channel, been going back and watching through all of the other sets you've put together. Love the chill and comfy vibes here. Made it to the end, I don't know if I have a single favorite art, Fist of the North Star Palafin SAR and Sylveon SAR are both really great, but Glaceon is my favorite eeveelution so I really like the base Glaceon and Glaceon SAR as well. I think putting the master ball cards on top of the regular cards is a good idea, especially if you don't know if you want to get all of the master ball cards because of how expensive it would be.
found your channel today and watched this to the end while eating lunch! was a nice break between studying for finals. i started getting into pokemon again with some paldean fates and this set is the next one to really catch my eye. love the way you take time to show the cards' art, it helps me really get a feel for the set :)

Made it to the end! I like how chill your openings are. I agree with your logic at the end about sorting the pokeballs/masterballs. It gives you a clearer picture of what’s left. If you’re really inspired to finish the masterballs, you could swap them once you’ve finished the pokeballs so you see how many masterballs are left, and you still get that sort of “increasing rarity” line from left to right
Love your channel, found you a few weeks ago and have been binge watching your videos. Got back into the hobby a little over a year ago collecting English cards and going for all the "future" cards to collect, as well as other cool art cards. I've been going back and forth kicking myself about not collecting Japanese in the beginning as they are way cheaper and better texture, but I do like reading the cards and being able to grab packs at my local stores. Mentioning I did watch the opening and the rest of the video ;)! Anyways I like the long videos and binder builds! I think my first master set will be team rocket, so watching your videos and how you sort has been very helpful. Thanks!
Hey! I just started watching your channel about a month ago. I usually watch at night as I wind down and I ended up going back and watching all of your videos from the beginning! I really appreciate that you don't yell because it might jolt me awake haha. Your videos have actually gotten me back into the Pokemon TCG hobby after taking over a year off to focus entirely on Lorcana. I was honestly kind of upset that they switched to silver borders so I lost interest, but the art has gotten incredible lately so I'm going back and getting some singles of the cards that I missed. I am also a binder collector through and through, but if I want to display something I put it in a perfect fit and a one-touch with a little stand. It's very minimal and also reversible! I also LOVE the Japanese Ball Holos (or Ball-os as I've been calling them). I've always had a soft spot for half-arts, the Amazing Rares and Radiants are some of my favorite modern mini-sets. I was curious about why you stopped posting Lorcana videos but I think I know why: The hit rates are terrible and the boxes aren't fun to open. Imagine if it was like this set and you got an enchanted in every box? Have you been collecting anything Lorcana related behind the scenes? I've been lucky enough to win all of the set champs promos so far and I went to one DLC and got the non-holo cindy and rapunzel promos. Much more fun to collect than the regular boxed enchanted cards in my opinion.
Thank you for your kind words! Actually, I really enjoyed the Lorcana opening experience and the hunt, but yeah, they need more variety of alternate cards. Something other than enchanteds that are only 1/96 packs. The addition of texture on legendaries helps. But no, it just got too expensive to do both, and with a second baby on the way and just arrived, I couldn’t dedicate the collection dollars to both games! I’d still love to go back and finish what I’ve missed for sure!
@Pokelou502 once they introduce a medium tier rarity I think the game will really take off. The competitive scene is thriving but collecting side is small. I look forward to any new Lorcana videos you do in the future! Best of luck and well wishes for your growing family

I really like this type of ASMR vid and you just nerding out about the set and your life outside of collecting. Unfortunately collecting has gotten way too expensive so I’m only able to experience new sets/ card openings through videos like this. Keep up the great work and I hope to see more content like this!

I love the long form relaxed videos without the yelling and fast pace, find them so relaxing. And binder building is almost therapeutic for me. I'm planning on using the neon pink as well, put my preorder in a while back but dint think it's coming until next month, jealous you adjust have yours! There's no way I'm getting all the pokeballs and master balls so I just plan on putting them in the spot a reverse holo would usually go. Sylveon is definitely my chase card for this set though, hoping I get the sir, pokeball and master ball.

Made it all the way through 🫡 This has been great background noise for my work day ^^ Surprisingly I think my favorite alt art from this set is either Roaring Moon or Leafeon! I adore the artist who did the Roaring Moon card, their style is so funky and they do so many neat card arts! Also love u taking time to admire some of the more “basic” art! One of my favorite all time cards is the basic leavanny from Fusion Strike. The art on it is so precious but it’s not a crazy card or anything, just a plain card with cute art 💜

Woah, we got the hour-long special? Nice! Now my obligatory wall of text is extra warranted: The pull tab struggle is indeed quite real. Sometimes, I get the same issues when it comes to opening One Piece cards. I've gotten much better at it as time has gone forward, but there's usually a little bit of wrapping stuck at the very bottom, and I have to wrangle the cards out. Always fearful of bending the cards, lol. I mentioned it on the previous Terastal Festival video, but I'm super excited for all the playable reprints... but as far as SARs go from this set? There's actually quite a number of them I wouldn't mind getting my hands on, most of them look pretty great. Ceruledge, Dragapult, Gholdengo, Glaceon, Iron Crown, there's too many to ask for. And the texturing, it's so good. It didn't actually occur in me that the sheer volume of cars printed in English is one of the factors in why we don't get the same treatment. Quite the sad revelation. Putting that aside though, glad you got that Kieran! Dude, you going out in the wild and finishing up vintage binders as a series is a fantastic idea, hell yeah. Heck, seeing you out and about and just engaging in the hobby in different places would be pretty rad in general. Do you already have any Neo era sets under your belt? It'd be cool to see you do some. I'll cut off my yapping here, but very nice haul of cards you got out of this opening. How do you handle storing all your bulk? And as for the feedback towards what you should do with the binder - I think I like the latter of the two options, with the Master ball on top of the regular and the pokeball next to it. I didn't think of double stacking the cards as a possibility to solve the space conundrum, part of me doesn't like the idea of the cards being squeezed too tight... but it seems to be working here just fine.
No Neo yet but it’s where my heart lies haha. I just use normal card bulk boxes to store my bulk currently. I went to a card show last week and filmed it but my mic wasn’t the best and I’m gonna just use it as a “filming in public” learning experience and not release it. But I’m getting closer to being brave enough to do it in public haha
I don’t complete every set so it’s nice to watch someone else go through and rip a ton. This is a really nice set too, hoping for the Glaceon most personally Edit: Video done. The pokeball over regular slot and master all over reverse holo slot would make for probably the most impressive binder to date, but sounds just as daunting lol. I can’t believe they’re doing so many variations of every card, good luck on the hunt!
Like Pokemon 151 japanese, I recommend the rieton 9 pocket 828 for this set. It lets me display the normal, poke ball holo, and masterball holo for each card nicely on a 3x3 grid. For example, bulbasaur would take up the first row, ivysaur the second, and for venusaur ex, I tripled up since ex’s are guaranteed one a pack. I’m planning on doing this for prismatic evolutions since I believe there will be poke ball holos, and I really like the concept of them.

There are so many cool cards on this set, but I think my favorite might be the raging bolt or maybe umbreon Awesome opening, I really like this calm style of videos, I made it all the way to the end!
I don't really comment a lot of videos in general, but I have to say tha I actually prefer the pack opening section of your videos. Not only is the commentary very relaxing, but I also look forward to seeing which cards you get. As for the SARs, I can't choose between the leafeon and the sylveon ones, they're both really pretty...

Congrats! I'm honestly with you on the umbreon MB/IR - if I can pull them then maybe I'll try to get the master set, if not, I don't know if I can justify the 500+ dollars for those two PLUS the rest of the set. I feel bad that you keep pulling espeons LOL. I would honestly stack the master ball on top of the normal card, and then have the pokeball next to it. Unless you wanna go REALLY crazy, maybe using 2 binders with 12 per page, and then sorting them vertically? Base above poke ball above master ball? Good luck either way! I'm adoring these videos! i made it to the end :) three espeons is crazy😭 its a nice card but damn.. as for the binder i think you SHOULD only do two slots per pokemon but i feel like the order should go pokeball -> master ball !! i think the idea of putting the master ball on top of what would be the basic slot to mark it as “completed” is really cute but seeing master ball and then pokeball feels like it’d be out of order. also, i never really collected cards aside from the occasional pack or two, but your tcgplayer master set video was what convinced me to start working on a “master set” of every poochyena and mightyena card !! theyre my two favorite pokemon of all time and i got lucky since they dont have any particularly rare/expensive cards (most expensive is like… $30?). It’s been fun so far but i havent gotten very much yet 😭 i just started and i wanna buy the cards incrementally so its gonna be a while but its totally gonna be worth it so im super excited!! thank you for convincing me to start fully card collecting!! (should i really be thanking you for sending me down this rabbithole..? jk lol)

I am a humble collector, but my fave things i have in binders. I've graded some cards to re-sell for funding new things, as i find its much easier to sell when graded as there is no debate on condition. Especially if i get a 10 haha

Hey! I just started watching your channel about a month ago. I usually watch at night as I wind down and I ended up going back and watching all of your videos from the beginning! I really appreciate that you don't yell because it might jolt me awake haha. Your videos have actually gotten me back into the Pokemon TCG hobby after taking over a year off to focus entirely on Lorcana. I was honestly kind of upset that they switched to silver borders so I lost interest, but the art has gotten incredible lately so I'm going back and getting some singles of the cards that I missed.
I am also a binder collector through and through, but if I want to display something I put it in a perfect fit and a one-touch with a little stand. It's very minimal and also reversible! I also LOVE the Japanese Ball Holos (or Ball-os as I've been calling them). I've always had a soft spot for half-arts, the Amazing Rares and Radiants are some of my favorite modern mini-sets.
I was curious about why you stopped posting Lorcana videos but I think I know why: The hit rates are terrible and the boxes aren't fun to open. Imagine if it was like this set and you got an enchanted in every box? Have you been collecting anything Lorcana related behind the scenes? I've been lucky enough to win all of the set champs promos so far and I went to one DLC and got the non-holo cindy and rapunzel promos. Much more fun to collect than the regular boxed enchanted cards in my opinion.
Thank you for your kind words! Actually, I really enjoyed the Lorcana opening experience and the hunt, but yeah, they need more variety of alternate cards. Something other than enchanteds that are only 1/96 packs. The addition of texture on legendaries helps. But no, it just got too expensive to do both, and with a second baby on the way and just arrived, I couldn’t dedicate the collection dollars to both games! I’d still love to go back and finish what I’ve missed for sure!
@Pokelou502 once they introduce a medium tier rarity I think the game will really take off. The competitive scene is thriving but collecting side is small. I look forward to any new Lorcana videos you do in the future! Best of luck and well wishes for your growing family

I really like this type of ASMR vid and you just nerding out about the set and your life outside of collecting. Unfortunately collecting has gotten way too expensive so I’m only able to experience new sets/ card openings through videos like this. Keep up the great work and I hope to see more content like this!

I love the long form relaxed videos without the yelling and fast pace, find them so relaxing. And binder building is almost therapeutic for me. I'm planning on using the neon pink as well, put my preorder in a while back but dint think it's coming until next month, jealous you adjust have yours!
There's no way I'm getting all the pokeballs and master balls so I just plan on putting them in the spot a reverse holo would usually go.
Sylveon is definitely my chase card for this set though, hoping I get the sir, pokeball and master ball.
Loved the video, watched it till the end as always! Maybe im alone in this but I would even love to watch you slot the cards in the binder at a slower speed or even normal speed. It's so satisfying!

Love the idea of putting the masterball on top of the pokeball in your binder! That’s how I would do it too. This was such an awesome video to watch and wish you the best of luck completing your master set.
I really enjoy watching people store cards in their binders and flip through their collections, I wish it was more common among pokemon collectors ^^ I would say my favorite art for this set is either Roaring Moon or Raging Bolt :) Good luck with this set!

Made it all the way through 🫡 This has been great background noise for my work day ^^ Surprisingly I think my favorite alt art from this set is either Roaring Moon or Leafeon! I adore the artist who did the Roaring Moon card, their style is so funky and they do so many neat card arts! Also love u taking time to admire some of the more “basic” art! One of my favorite all time cards is the basic leavanny from Fusion Strike. The art on it is so precious but it’s not a crazy card or anything, just a plain card with cute art 💜

In terms of the feedback you asked, I would probably put the master ball/pokeball on top of the regular card.

Woah, we got the hour-long special? Nice! Now my obligatory wall of text is extra warranted:
The pull tab struggle is indeed quite real. Sometimes, I get the same issues when it comes to opening One Piece cards. I've gotten much better at it as time has gone forward, but there's usually a little bit of wrapping stuck at the very bottom, and I have to wrangle the cards out. Always fearful of bending the cards, lol.
I mentioned it on the previous Terastal Festival video, but I'm super excited for all the playable reprints... but as far as SARs go from this set? There's actually quite a number of them I wouldn't mind getting my hands on, most of them look pretty great. Ceruledge, Dragapult, Gholdengo, Glaceon, Iron Crown, there's too many to ask for. And the texturing, it's so good. It didn't actually occur in me that the sheer volume of cars printed in English is one of the factors in why we don't get the same treatment. Quite the sad revelation. Putting that aside though, glad you got that Kieran!
Dude, you going out in the wild and finishing up vintage binders as a series is a fantastic idea, hell yeah. Heck, seeing you out and about and just engaging in the hobby in different places would be pretty rad in general. Do you already have any Neo era sets under your belt? It'd be cool to see you do some.
I'll cut off my yapping here, but very nice haul of cards you got out of this opening. How do you handle storing all your bulk? And as for the feedback towards what you should do with the binder - I think I like the latter of the two options, with the Master ball on top of the regular and the pokeball next to it. I didn't think of double stacking the cards as a possibility to solve the space conundrum, part of me doesn't like the idea of the cards being squeezed too tight... but it seems to be working here just fine.
No Neo yet but it’s where my heart lies haha. I just use normal card bulk boxes to store my bulk currently. I went to a card show last week and filmed it but my mic wasn’t the best and I’m gonna just use it as a “filming in public” learning experience and not release it. But I’m getting closer to being brave enough to do it in public haha
I don’t complete every set so it’s nice to watch someone else go through and rip a ton. This is a really nice set too, hoping for the Glaceon most personally

The pokeball over regular slot and master all over reverse holo slot would make for probably the most impressive binder to date, but sounds just as daunting lol. I can’t believe they’re doing so many variations of every card, good luck on the hunt!

Like Pokemon 151 japanese, I recommend the rieton 9 pocket 828 for this set. It lets me display the normal, poke ball holo, and masterball holo for each card nicely on a 3x3 grid. For example, bulbasaur would take up the first row, ivysaur the second, and for venusaur ex, I tripled up since ex’s are guaranteed one a pack. I’m planning on doing this for prismatic evolutions since I believe there will be poke ball holos, and I really like the concept of them.

My son and I made it to the end, the binder build is my favorite part. I'm an OG 151 fan. My son just started his collection journey, he'll be ripping a bunch of surging sparks packs on Christmas. I'm not so patiently waiting for prismatic to release. 😆
There are so many cool cards on this set, but I think my favorite might be the raging bolt or maybe umbreon

Not only is the commentary very relaxing, but I also look forward to seeing which cards you get. As for the SARs, I can't choose between the leafeon and the sylveon ones, they're both really pretty...

My chase card from this set is the espeon illustration rare, followed by umbreon and the gold pikachu (since surging is near impossible to get right now lol). and as I typed espeon, you pulled it! Congrats! I'm honestly with you on the umbreon MB/IR - if I can pull them then maybe I'll try to get the master set, if not, I don't know if I can justify the 500+ dollars for those two PLUS the rest of the set. I feel bad that you keep pulling espeons LOL. I would honestly stack the master ball on top of the normal card, and then have the pokeball next to it.

EDIT: making it all the way through, I do think Master ball going on top of the "Base" sounds like a good pick, since it's sorta... a bonus? Unless you wanna go REALLY crazy, maybe using 2 binders with 12 per page, and then sorting them vertically? Base above poke ball above master ball? Good luck either way!

Made it to the end! I haven’t been this excited for set in a while! Hard to pick a chase, but if I had to, probably the Umbreon or Sylveon. However if I got the Roaring Moon, Ceruledge or Cake Eevee I wouldn’t complain haha. My boxes are going to be coming soon so fingers crossed. Good luck on your journey to finish this set! i made it to the end :) three espeons is crazy😭 its a nice card but damn.. as for the binder i think you SHOULD only do two slots per pokemon but i feel like the order should go pokeball -> master ball !! i think the idea of putting the master ball on top of what would be the basic slot to mark it as “completed” is really cute but seeing master ball and then pokeball feels like it’d be out of order. also, i never really collected cards aside from the occasional pack or two, but your tcgplayer master set video was what convinced me to start working on a “master set” of every poochyena and mightyena card !! theyre my two favorite pokemon of all time and i got lucky since they dont have any particularly rare/expensive cards (most expensive is like… $30?). It’s been fun so far but i havent gotten very much yet 😭 i just started and i wanna buy the cards incrementally so its gonna be a while but its totally gonna be worth it so im super excited!! thank you for convincing me to start fully card collecting!! (should i really be thanking you for sending me down this rabbithole..? jk lol)

Common/normal with pokeball on top, then masterball to the right. As sad as double stacking is, 1 binder sets are the way.

I am a humble collector, but my fave things i have in binders. I've graded some cards to re-sell for funding new things, as i find its much easier to sell when graded as there is no debate on condition. Especially if i get a 10 haha

from seeing all these videos of people opening this set the cards id love to have the most are probably the sylveon art rare or the sylveon master ball if it exists i havent seen it yet. also i love watching your videos they are so much calmer than others and the binder building is just so satisfying to see it made me want to build my own master set
