i've met quite a few dope ass dj's. and i must say, this man has one of the dopest styles in the world. I'm from Chicago, but man, but I will rep midwest just so I could be associated with this man. Ghettotech and ghetto house, in my opinion, are the dopest styles in the country right now. fuck bmore.

@freakparty99 Dude, Im sorry but your wrong. Google or UA-cam "detroit Techno" and you will see what I mean. This is called Ghetto Tech. It is a form of Detroit techno music.. but the type of music that is actually classified as detroit techno is not the same is this. I understand that alot of Ghetto tech may have originated from detroit techno, but they arnt the same thing. I do however love them both. D till I die.
Most of the tracks don't have formal names. The second song (the one he juggles on both tables) is called Godzilla and is actually a Chicago track. Another I recognize is called "The Many Voices of Eric" but tracks like the instrumental at 5:30 I don't think have real names, notice the label just has a logo on it. They were all bootleg presses that all the Ghettotech DJ's in Detroit just had. You used to be able to buy some at Melodies & Memories in Eastpointe, but I have no clue if they have stuff like that these days. The guys there could probably point you in the right direction. Unfortunately the vast majority of these tracks have never been available legitimately in a digital format.
@ ccstevens5 : Man, thanks for sharing that, I just got put on to this so you know I feel dumb late! I really like this stuff, and can't believe this had started poppin off since '89. Godfather & Rod Lee, got some solid work!
cheers for the reply but it doesnt seem to be that, im lookin for the one with the "dont stop, pump it! pump it!" sample thats been scratched at the very start of the vid, wanna bring some ghetto-tech to ireland!
Hope he'll be at DEMF 2009 along with : Robert Hood Gerald Donald & Kim Karli Convextion Gez Varley (LFO) and Maurizio (Basic Channel) Paul Mac , Mark Williams and Steve O' Sullivan Samuel L. Session and Seba + Sonic & Silver Oumou Sangare great music from Mali !...
thats cuz jittin and juke are two different dance styles. though they're both dope as hell, they're different. they have jittin vs footwork battles all the time.
