I switched from a fixed blade to the mechanical blade ( Swacker) last season. Dropped a doe in her tracks at 25 yards and a " unihorn" spike at 22 yards. He ran 10 yards maybe and dropped. I'll stick with Swacker. They are normally available at almost every Walmart. Thanks for all the info. Good video. 👍👍✌

Love the passthrough kills with those expandables! Everyone seems to think you won’t ever get another pass through shot if you shoot a mechanical but I’ve had nothing but positive experiences shooting a 2 blade rage. A great tuned bow is another huge factor in getting good performance out of mechanicals.

I've used Shwacker's for several years and 2 years ago shot a doe from the front coming straight in. It ran about 25 feet. I dang near cut it in half. I sliced through 7 ribs which was just devastating.
Also have used Toxics with fantastic success. I don't have anything bad to say about either one.
Enough draw and weight and an arrow is going to punch through any whitetail.

Thank you for your video and for taking the time to do your video. I wanted to clerify some facts which you didnot mention. You mention aluminum ferrule but you donot state which kind and there are many kinds alot of which are not good-we use 7075 t6 which is as tough as a mild steel. All of our broadheads have a no hassle lifetime replacement guarantee, you damage one, take a picture and email to us and we replace. Secondly our stinger broadheads are not 3 to 1. The stinger broadhead you had in the video was a 125 gr 4 blade and is 2 inches long(where it sticks out of the arrow) and is 1 1/8th wide. Last you mention vented heads make a noise and in all of our tests we have not found this to be true including the video i have attached. You can take a look at this video which shows it. Take a look at this video by the innovative sportsmen- Thank you again for your video

The cut throat is made of high carbon steel which is able to be heat treated And hardened. Which is what every broadhead should be made out of. High carbon steels like a hammer that is made to pound steel is made specifically for certain reasons. Mechanicals are a joke in my opinion and just a way for the industry to make money. If your bow and your arrows are tuned properly it doesn't matter what type of broadhead you shoot off of your bow anywhere from a 100 grains to 300 grains they are all going to fly like lazer beams. Not trying to be insulting but you guys really need to do some serious research on broadheads and bow and arrow tuning.

I’m very disappointed in your presentation. You left the importance of tuning, particularly bare shaft, paper tuning, nock tuning and the importance of broadhead weight in the tuning and ultimate accuracy of the arrow. If you don’t have all these factors determined before you put on a broadhead, IMO, your evaluation of any broadhead has loopholes.

So much goes into archery it’s not funny. If you are using a lighter faster arrow, fixed single bevel is ideal if you are using a heavier more kinetic energy and momentum mechanical is great. If you are not getting a total pass through with your bow setup you need to change something. There is no reason a modern bow or crossbow is not getting 💯 pass throughs on the toughest animals.
