Gators do have a top speed of 35MPH running on land. But they aren't exactly known for having endurance. And they rarely run after humans because we aren't considered suitable prey to them. That Beagle, though, would be considered a snack to them. The gator in the video just needs to grow fully into its adult potential before it stops being intimidated by the Beagle.

About 2 minutes in, this thing finally went for a roll, and there was no audio, but you could see that monkey's eyes go wide. That arm was shredded. And apparently, it still got away. I have nothing good to say about monkeys regarding intelligence or how they treat each other, but them bastards is tough.

What was really funny is walking in the dark on a path through a campground and hearing all the Gators go into the water as you walk along the path with your husband who's not from Florida. Is screaming and running which is something I had not seen before in our over 20 years of marriage. It was hilarious
