OK EVERYONE... New at this and looking to build one. I done everything from welding, electrical to factory maintain. So I am very mechanical. I know nothing about the do's and don't to building one. Some say 2 stroke and some 4 stroke. I like the 4 stroke myself as I do not have to mix fuel. Can one get power and speed (up to 50 mph) in a 4 stroke? Very limited budget so I will have to build this over the winter but want it done by spring. I live 5 miles from town and have one vehicle (a 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee) in good condition. Look for an emergence ride to town so it has to be reliable, for fun, and exercise. Peddles for exercise and motor for fun. I can find a bike on Fb Marketplace or Craigslist to use as the frame. Can a 4 stroke be converted to propane? Just a thought.... Best complete reliable kit. I am looking through LOTS of UA-cam's on 4 stroke but there is not very many.... Best tires as we have lots of goatheads out here that can go through a tire. yhey are like sand spears but are bigger and sharper.

And just a little heads up when it came to returning things Bikeberry do not really take things back which made me wish i had bought my things on Amazon.

And for the 2 stroke I have doubts about the noise ... Could you help me out with a suggestion ? I enjoy riding on hils and valleys ... Which one would be better for me ? Thanks
4 stroke is lower maintenance and more reliable overall. If you get the 4 stroke, make sure you get one with the belt transfer case and NOT the one with the silver chain pocket bike transfer case. Spend the extra $ to get one with that case. Also, consider a bigger, rear sprocket for more low end torque to get you up hills. Overall, you call. Happy building
Followed this video but it did not work for my bike I put on the regular carb and the thing went crazy and drove halfway across my living room. Did I do something wrong? I tried am ny carb and an hpc no dice with either there was no idle just drive
Hey! Thanks for watching. The boost bottle is for 2 strokes and it acts like a valve (or a very rudimentary reed valve concept). Since the 4 stroke actually has valves, I don't think a boost bottle would do anything to help performance. Thanks for the input 👍

I do have a question which bistand are you using for a kickstand the one I ordered off Amazon did not fit well it was too big of a drop down you could give me a clue on that kickstand that would be great
Thanks for watching. Amazon sells a good bistand that folds to one side. Check those out. Happy building!
I just clicked because I saw the 4 stroke with an expansion chamber
Why does it have an expansion chamber? it's a four stroke
Did the transmission break yet? I had one and it just break out of no where and i replace it with one just like it and the same thing happen again so i went with a Bikeberry transmission it would not fit in but i grinded away some of the fly weight cover and remove the bolt and it did great and it still alive today but you will lose some of the top speed but it can be easily gain back with a smaller sprocket. And just a little heads up when it came to returning things Bikeberry do not really take things back which made me wish i had bought my things on Amazon.
Hey, how is it holding up?
@@krispau8344 have a 2 stroke now
How much hp and torque dost this engine have?
Belt drive transmission would have helped. That's what mine has. 100 tooth belt drive and 44 tooth sprocket on a Kent Ridgeland.
Hello from Romania, one question for you ... Would you prefer more a 4 stroke kit or the 2 stroke ? I'm about to build one and I have doubts about the 4 stroke and the clutch issues ... And for the 2 stroke I have doubts about the noise ... Could you help me out with a suggestion ? I enjoy riding on hils and valleys ... Which one
would be better for me ?
@@SouthernCustomCC 🙏 thanks for the reply 😀 🎉
Where did you get the bobber headlight ?
Your exhaust is on upside down. Have it going under the bike
I want build a 4stroke 20inch fat tire without welding
Go with a 26-in you're not going to be able to do it on a 20 without welding
Love the bike could you give me the part number and where you bought the front headlight thanks
Head light was from eBay. 6.5” bobber led front headlight.
This is the build mark .I called ..love the battery pack . Text me the information about this build, please thank you sir
160 bucks total yd100 with the red carburetor a filter not the black one drill holes in the back for more air intake
Thanks for the video... ❤❤
When you change over carbs what do you do with the black hose that came from original air filter to the engine
Where did you get the light kit
Hey I use a remote control car battery to power my head light Lipo.
That's a good set up too! Do you use the 12v or the 9.6v?
@@SouthernCustomCC traxxas 12volt
I heard you can also put RC nitro fuel in a two stroke. Haven't tried it myself yet, though.
Followed this video but it did not work for my bike I put on the regular carb and the thing went crazy and drove halfway across my living room. Did I do something wrong? I tried am ny carb and an hpc no dice with either there was no idle just drive
Ever get it figured out? I have one with high idle and low to no pull after swapping to an NT however my other one did not do that.
Your clutch has a broken spring or more.
bro what about boost bootle + expansion chamber for a 2-stroke ?
Hey! Thanks for watching. The boost bottle is for 2 strokes and it acts like a valve (or a very rudimentary reed valve concept). Since the 4 stroke actually has valves, I don't think a boost bottle would do anything to help performance. Thanks for the input 👍
@@SouthernCustomCC you actually thought he was serious..
@Lane AWD yes you can run a turb on a two stroke
So what is your top speed since you weren't going for it in video?
What trans and rear gear is that?
The 144 would be great. I wonder if you could add a larger carb or modify the exhaust to make it go faster
Were you get the Bober light ?
eBay. Just type in Motorcycle headlamp, these will come up.. don't forget the 12v li ion battery. It will run you about 40-50$ depending on the battery size and type of headlamp... I used a real motorcycle lamp with LED bulb, and a 12v 3.3AH tiny battery. Also I recommend getting a triple tree suspension, the regular type of forks just looks awful with these types of headlamp units.
What’s the brand of that front light on that bike is it troll. ?????/???
There is not a standard brand name, sorry. Here is an eBay listing:

Noce bike. Does the exhaust pipe get too hot for your leg? Look g at putting one on too
It doesn’t burn, no. It gets warm though. Use a straight pipe for best performance. I only installed the fat belly for shock factor and sound. Have fun!
@@SouthernCustomCC okay good. Yeah the sound is awesome, and probably helps drivers to look for you. just a straight thin pipe style? Do you have a link for a straight pipe you recommend?
@@atmosrepairyou can remove the cap from your stock exhaust
So you got an NT 2 stroke carburetor on there?? Or 4 stroke?
Thanks for watching. This is an NT standard carb. The adaptor can be purchased on gasbike.net. Happy building.
a 2 stroke exhaust on that 4 stroke motor wont do nothing but add more weight, still, looks cool
It will add backpressure, wich will make the bike slower
