I spent 20 years working in group homes for people with developmental disability's. Most of my folks spent their early years institutionalized. It warms my heart to see Abby living her best life. Thank you so much for sharing.
I know it's rough to watch your dog after they get spayed but THANK YOU for being responsible dog owners! Especially down south, people tend to not spay their dogs. Fostering dogs up north, we get tons of stray dogs from the south and they're almost always because of overpopulation due to owners not spaying their dogs. So thank you!! You guys are absolutely amazing!! ♥️

I gotta laugh cause it seems that most large dogs are more willing to be lap dogs than the smaller ones that could be are.
People without dogs wouldnt understand. Its normal to talk to ur pet like u would to any kid. I heard on the news that pet loves when we talk like that.
it makes me sad to see that Abby is barely functioning from exhaustion and still brought to school. with all her sensory issues i know that has to be torturous for her. why not give her a day to recoup for the day. being over tired will prevent her from sleeping. vicious cycle. poor sweet girl
When we had our golden retriever fixed they said keep her calm. The next day she took a flying leap off our porch. Scared us to death. Goldens are wild
A couple of times with the hat and expression I have seen Isaiah right in your face. I love your tenderness with Sandy. My baby who only weighs 5 pounds soaking wet was so sick after I got her spayed. As soon as she felt like eating I gave her rice. I pray Sandy does not get sick.
i really loved how she went to see mom first before having something to eat. that melt my heart lol. and sandy is so sweet , my dog doesnt even get excited to go to the vet lol
I heard on news that CA has cancelled door to door trick or treat and also car to car. Due to covid. I live in FL have not heard anything about our Halloween 🎃

I definitely would ask a trusted health professional or even do some deep dive research digging on the internet about tasty heartworm + flea & tick medications. My mother studied and trained to be a vet and personally, I have seen such a wide array of differing ways to administer the medication. Currently, I have my little Bichon named Blizzard on some tasty and effective ones named Nexgard and Heartgard. Like I said, there are different ways to administer the medication and there are different chemical formulations that you can seek. I love my local vet. :-) I'm happy to see Maverick and Sandy looking out for each other.
Emily McMurphy I agree. I had my toy poodle on Revolution which is topical once a month and so easy. A bit more expensive but totally worth it. Flea and heart worm protection.

1. Does cilla have a food blog? If not, y’all should make one. 2. I know the struggle of the dreaded giant heart worm pill. But trust me on this: CREAM CHEESE. Put the pill in a glob of cream cheese and it goes right down, and my dog takes it willingly. It’s only once a month and it’s a nice treat.
Valerie Baker unfortunately for a lot of dogs, those things don’t work. The dogs separate the treat from the pill and then it’s back to square one. I’m glad the pill pockets work for you though 🙂
Just had my dog for her yearly checkup and the vet told me about an injection for heartworms that lasts a year! Much easier than trying to get them to eat the tablet! 👍

We always stick our dog’s pills in a cheese puff. Not sure why it works but it does.
We used peanut butter for ours. It was the only thing that worked for her.
