My husband got in bc a friend of his already was one and he wrote them a letter of recommendation for him…I’m sure there’s other ways to get in, but that’s how he did :)
@@MissMooreStyle we did!! In fact we got a special tour of artifacts from a descendent of Jack Daniels himself that we met a Mary Bobos restaurant when we had lunch. Plus i was lucky to score a bottle of Sinatra while there. Hard to get. 🍺☘️
Thanks Ashley!!!! Yes Nate picked up a Jamaican allspice finished jack Daniels, the “twin blend” which is straight tn whiskey blended with straight tn rye, and also the jack Daniels green label which is only sold in 5 states :)
Have you ever taken a tour of a distillery, winery, or brewery? Its fun to learn about how this process happens! Stay tuned because I'll be back in Nashville with the Babes that Wander in November bringing you more fun Nashville + TN travel content!
I live a few hours from Lynchburg (I do talk like that! Lol) and the distillery tour is awesome! It's still funny to me bc we only got 1oz total at the tasting bc the dry county!! 💖
I guess i had a southern accent when I was little that i picked up from my preschool teacher but my mom isn’t southern so she kinda trained me to not talk like that thus why I don’t have an accent (tho some people in la say I do which I think is crazy) but it’s funny bc when I haven’t been home in a long time I can’t do the accent to save my life but then after I’ve been back a while and interacting with people who do have southern accents and hearing it more it comes right back haha. It’s repressed down deep somewhere in there ♥️ How long ago did you go and do the tour? First time we went was 7 years ago and the tasting was terrible it was basically a total of 1 oz like you said and it was just regular jack, jack fire, and gentleman jack. This time it seemed like it was a tad more than an oz and they also let us taste some actual more rare/high end versions so that was pretty cool. I feel like they’ve definitely improved the tasting bit over the years but yeah kinda sucks that you can’t really have much.
My First Tour of The Distillery FREE was June 1993. They started Charging for Tours in 2018 - 2019 Range.
