Why is there not a mod to fix resource sharing. If you allied you should share the same resources I hope Victoria 3 has an even more in-depth economy system (exactly like Victoria 2 just like 3x better)
I can’t decide on two options for balancing the game. Option 1: Give every nation access to resources like Coal, Iron, Sulphur, and other essentials (but this also has the effect of removing reasons for war thus making the game more boring) Option 2: Have all resources be randomized each time they start a new save. So in one game Poland can have tons of coal with no iron and in the next game have tons of iron but no coal.
@@Kaiserboo1871 Nah nah they just need a trading system. The bad part about resources and goods are that, they are bound by spheres. Besides building factories and going to war you can't trade iron or Sulphur.
Poor Dual Monarchy. That country seems to do poorly almost every campaign, unlike Russia which tends to do well except for powerful opponents like here. Maybe you could give it a try? Also I have no idea why there's so much sulfur in Germany and no where else, is that realistic?

So does casualties from war directly affect your pops in a 1:1 ratio? If nations like scandinavia are taking millions of casualties in wars then how is this not severly affecting industry at home?
For the iron and sulphur issue, can't you just import the decision to change RGOs into the mod that you're using? I took the decisions from that GOC mod and put them into HPM, worked easy as pie as long as you added in event modifiers

I’m calling it now the Great War will be fought between the “Central” Powers of Poland-Lithuania, Elbia, Württemberg, Scandinavia, Ethiopia, Ottomans, and Vinland against the Entente powers consisting of Italy, Duel Monarchy, Russia, Turania, Japan, China, and Gran Colombia. Unknowns include Spain (as far as I know he seems to leaning towards an alliance with Vinland but nothing concrete), Netherlands (he is tied to no one), Batavia, and the South America nations (Idk if Batavia & the South American nations have players on them or not).
@@Kaiserboo1871 i think that Dual(Now Single) Monarchy will get stomped out too quickly and the other nations are too far from home to contribute anything effectively, even if they were to have Chinese and Japanese troops walk to Siberia before the war started.

I love victoria 2 greatly but the economy, for all its cool traits, is extremely rough in the mil goods department for resource poor countries.
Problem is how every province only has one possible RGO. Vic 3 solves this in its own way

1k soldier pop = 1 brigade (3000 soldiers), at least for 1st brigade from that province. And like 80% of non combat casualties doesn't kill pops.
