Add on Ottomans and Northern Italy its pretty clear they had close to a 3 to 1 advantage.

I feel like doing transfers purely for the sake of completing a decision shouldn't be allowed. If DM kept Calais and Bourgogne in exchange for helping Burgundy then I would be fine with it since there is a precedent in history (see French annexation of Savoy). But the fact that DM got the land and then gave it right back after the decision was taken feels gamey and leads to bad diplo and uninteresting games.
@@JudeLind Simple way to fix it would be only allowing transfers one-way, or having a time limit e.g Savoy can transfer a region to Aragon but this region cannot be transfered back, or cannot be transfered back for 35 years. Of course I'm sure people would find ways around this, such as trading other regions, but it would at least be a start.
No it shouldn't It's literally not profitable for burgundy. If DM wants to backstab them at any point afterwards (especially if they didnt transfer the land bacc yet) - they can do that for absolutely free and own them easily

The non linear chronology of this series(?) is a really nice change. It’s satisfying for context of previous videos to be slowly filled to a full realization.
Kinda reminds me of the dream sequence in the heirs to Aquitaine series. I do hope spud doesn’t completely abandon the more linear stuff. He’s a damn sight better at crafting a narrative than most full length movies.
