hello sorry for the delay, I hope I'm not wrong and a 13 key, as regards the recording of the battery it would be correct to record it in audi, but if you don't record it, nothing changes. My audi q5 year 2009, I didn't register it and it works great

What size socket did you use to take the battery hold down clamp out? and you didn't need to register the new battery with programmer ?
