me: ig chinese dramas just aren't for me.
also me: binges woh's first 20 eps in like 2 days.
i thought everything was subbed already, but i was very very wrong. i have been trying desperately to avoid spoilers and have been (somehow) succeeding lol but the wait is agony!!
but oh man! this drama is just everthing i wanted and more. characters that are fleshed out!! relationships that make sense and evolve naturally. and that sweet sweet slow burn ugh i just love it and can't recommend it enough!!
also the dub is surprisingly good!! and this team is also just playing with fire each ep in regards to the censorship and i love them for it lol

One is trying to atone for his "sins" by suffering a slow death while the other is trying to revenge the life he lost in his childhood. Both are suffering from grieve & pain with no will to truly live until they meet each other. Then they both find someone who they can truly connect to. Both wiling to die for & protect each other. They may have given up on themselves, but not on each other. Gaining the will to be better people & live full lives together. Its a beautiful, healing love. ❤❤

I hadn’t watched this when you posted it specifically since I knew I would watch the drama someday, but here I am now and I am *not* okay. this is my favorite video of yours, hands down, everything is just so masterful. the parallels, the angst, the heartbreak, holy crap at 4:14 when the music stopped??? I ACTUALLY stopped breathing, I was so engrossed in this beautiful couple and story been shown to me on the screen, I almost started crying. thank you for this masterpiece, it made me feel so much just like they did T.T
