A-xu is in charge of disciplining the son and being affectionate to the daughter while Lao Wen is in charge of disciplining the daughter and being affectionate to the son. In the end of the day, they both love A-xiang and Chengling and they would do anything to be there for them.
In the book the reason A-Xu end up doing nothing it’s because he accidentally almost burned the kitchen when WKX asked his help so he pushed him out to sit and wait 😂😂😂

The children bring out the best (and the worst?) in their parents while the parents complement each other (and fight each other) in so many ways. Their bickering is fun to watch and at the same time their courage to face the world together shows how much they appreciate (love?) each other. I wish this series could be longer than it is.
I love all of these scenes. It’s incredible how Lao Wen can be so nurturing, loving, careful with them all and in the next scene back at the valley stroking his fan and killing people with one hand to the throat with the same intensity. That was scary to me.
Uncle Ye Bai Yi is really wholesome. He might somewhat came out rude to people but its his nature to speak frankly without sugar coating his words. An eye opener of reality hshshs

That's the relationship they can admit to anyways😊.

Me hubiera gustado que los 3 pasen más tiempo en familia y que hubieran desarrollado mejor al niño ya que ellos mismos dijeron que el era especial quiero una 2 temporada donde los 3 pasen tiempo como una familia esta temporada me dejo un vacío en el corazón
Si yo también creo que los últimos episodios fueron apresurados, aunque he leído que fue debido al bajo presupuesto de la serie, pero si habria sido lindo que pudieran estar más tiempo con Cheng Ling o al menos mostrar que ellos en algún momento lo visitaban o viceversa, o eso quiero imaginar porque ni siquiera se vió la despedida de WKZ hacia Cheng Ling 🙁
