I started screenprinting for Nike, left started printing for myself using vinyl, started buying transfers, to me buying a Dtf printer, and lowering the prices, and selling volume
10% net at the end of the day after equipment and depreciation is great. Totally great, not everyone has Walmart BUYING power, that's the game, purchasing power and labor to push.
Thanks for the info I desperately want to start DTF I currently sublimate many different items and htv shirts. Do okay but still working full-time. I want to be able to start my own and maintain. Blessings and thanks again for this video. Side note sometimes Michaels has shirts for 2.99 each on sale. That's when I go and order alot to keep stock
Every time I watch you and Chelly, I am inspired! You are honest and straightforthward + willing to share. Big Thanks for the free downloads too. Now to order my first gang sheet
GM I'm still learning, and my crazy question is... with your sheets, do I only need a computer to design what I want to press and a heat press source in my home.
Thank you. I'm utilizing square for pos and inventory but at times the inventory isn't correct after someone purchases items. What are you utilizing to keep tract of inventory?
Just came across your video. Do you have a dtf that can be made and it can print on hard surface and fabric? Or do I have to buy 2 different sheets of the same image to have 1 print on hard surface like tile/porcelain coaster and fabric shirt?
70+ washes. DTF from a commercial grade printers like ours doesn't fade crack or peel like other transfers on the market. We have more videos on the channel talking about the strength of our transfers.
What's the difference between your dtf transfers, and the same size dtf transfers from places like Etsy? They seem to be around $20 shipped for the same size
Amazing question! Ours are printed from 4 head commercial grade Audley printers. The ones on Etsy are printed on god knows what machine and a lot of them are premade transfers from china. We provide custom gang sheets and we don’t charge to set your gang sheet up like the competition. Zero set up fees. Etsy has become so saturated.
@@StraightOuttaContent Thanks for the fast reply! Haven't tried DTF yet so I wanted to give it a shot. I'll probably end up ordering from you and a small design from one of the top rated ones from Etsy and compare the 2. Do you have any sort of samples or sample pack before I order a massive gang sheet?
Thanks for the video. Just found the channel and was curious as a transfer seller, do you provide any kind of guarantee on the quality ie. not to fade after x number of washes etc?
@@wexoom lol yes and that’s not the full video where I drove over it with my car. We definitely stand by our slogan “the worlds strongest heat transfer “ but how the transfer is pressed also plays a part as well. It’s like Toyota! They’re known for their amazing reliability, but if you never change the oil or put family dollar oil in it lol don’t be surprised if something happens. Lol we provide the strongest transfers in the world because of our massive 4 head printers. At $19.99 a gang sheet, try it out yourself. 🙏🏿
Great video. Very helpful in handling my future business. Do you have a similar video on custom tshirt orders? For example, a business ask you to do 50 Tshirts, full back and left chest (this is what I always order from you guys), how can you use this formula to determine your profit margin before accepting the job? If you do please provide me with a link. Daniel from DanZain Printing Services. Thank you.
Unfortunately we don’t have a video like that because we no longer sell custom apparel. This is a situation where you will have to take out some paper and a pen and figure out your own budget and try that method. Our videos are just to get people started. At the end of the day you are going to have to figure out what works for you
The truth is, custom tshirts or bulk orders are significantly cheaper than if you’re printing to sell. One tshirt can sell for $25 or $30 as you stated. But with custom tshirt or bulk order you can sell one tshirts that price. Around my area, one custom tshirts or bulk order starts at about $16. This price reduces with more and more orders. If you take into consideration your the cost of tshirts and shipping, the transfers and shipping, the labor, we aren’t really seeing much profit. I would like to hear your take on this. Aside; With you guys, the buy 5 and 1 free transfer is a great deal to see profit. The free transfer is pretty much the profit.
@@DanielKanu Everything you stated is why we don’t promote selling tshirts and we moved into manufacturing DTF transfers. Why we have 8 commercial grade printers and a huge warehouse where we make tons of products.
@@DanielKanu u definitely right he’s focused on bigger ventures not for the small guys but can’t knock him salute to him though I still a shop with bro time to time 💯
Because of the layering process, not being able to color match because you’re limited to the color of the vinyl vs the color of the image and the complexity. Vinyl is extremely limited.
@@StraightOuttaContent the layering process? As in multiple vinyl colors cut on a cricut machine? That would be a horrible idea. Are you familiar with being able to print and cut on a Roland BN-20 or equivalent machine? That does make it possible.
If $35 for a sheet of your custom images at whatever size you require is to "high" for you, then you're in the wrong business. You're always welcome to go to walmart and get dark transfer paper thats going to tear apart after 1 wash.
Thank you for all your good advice and info! Have you ever charged $25 for the shirt PLUS shipping? I can't figure out if I should offer 'free shipping' and mark the shirt up a bit or charge for the item plus shipping. Thanks!
