Thanks for this Paul. I'm using it as a refresher this morning as I need to explain the rules to a big group! Looking forward to it now.

Thanks! The other option is that you sit them down and get them to watch the video before you do an explanation of it - I've known people do that a lot and it helps too! :)

I've been asked a number of times before. The best place for these questions would be on my BGG guild. boardgamegeek.com/guild/2258 If you are a BGG user, please join up and post a question - if it hasn't been posted already - it may have been as I've been asked a lot :)

A great video! I was just left pondering how exactly the play order is picked every round. More specifically; how the order in which players get to choose the order space is defined/decided (at the start of game round, around 53 seconds into the video)?

Hi. One player starts off with the big start player token, and that passes clockwise each round. It is the player with that token who first chooses their order space for the round.

Thank you! I don't think I've ever received such a fast answer; really appreciated! Looking forward on getting to try out this game.

I have a hard time catching how does the +/- work and how it affects potions crafting

Can you be more specific with your question and I can try to help.

What does +/- mean and how does it combine with different Big/Small circle and the same color Big/Small +/-?
You checked the app and crossed out so many options I got confused what's going on ^^.

When you mix a potion, the app tells you what the result is. A potion is either a + or a -, or is a neutral potion.
Based on your test results, this allows you to "cross out" things on your sheet.
This video is only intended as an overview to help you learn the game. To fully understand it, you will need to refer to the rulebook available online at czechgames.com. Hope that helps.

      K thanks a lot!
It's an awesome quick overview to be honest. It is said it's an really complex game and you made it look quite understandable. :)

Yep. I agree. It's one of the most complex games I've covered and even when I am teaching the game in person - this part is always the trickiest. Only way to understand it is watch the vid, read the rules, watch the vid again :). Then play a few rounds. Then hopefully it will click.

Those bubbling sounds are very annoying!
