Thank you for this video, great information. I have a lot of coding bootcamps around me but I'm unsure if that would be as useful as a bachelors in IT. Tough decision for me at 35.

totally understand but I have found that many in the same boat find that bootcamps are enough to get started vs devoting so much time and money going back to school. Have you looked into it any deeper?

I'm about to quit my actual career to start learning code, by my own. This is very helpful, I want to know what options I have to start learning 💌 I'm very exited because I always liked tech and how it grows by the time, I can finally do what I love

@@duncan32158 I did quite the career (a good decision I would say) but I started learning how to tattoo and I'm working from that 🤣 I study code sometimes but it's not my priority for now

Hey, I just graduated with an IT degree and I'm looking to become a software engineer. I'm considering a boot camp to brush up on my skills and get some projects down. I'm currently doing self-study in preparation. Do you really think a non-cs major can go straight into software engineering? or would it be faster to do web development first?
I definitely think it's possible and know people who have done it. The most important part is to put the work in, whether that means a bootcamp or self teaching. Hard work now for a huge pay out later (not to say that the hard work ever really stops). Hope things are going well for you!

Starting to believe Python is the language I want to learn. I'm most likely going to be finishing off all your videos by the end of the week.

I currently work in finance, and I would like to use software engineering to expand my career within the finance space. And I would love to know what Fintech Software engineers do and the different career options within fintech itself.

How is the music called in the background?
Thank you for posting this insightful video. I have recently heard of the careers: DevOps, and Systems Engineer. Do you know anything about these two? I have researched about them.
Those are both newer as well! What I know about DevOps is that it helps to bridge the gaps between operations teams and dev ops teams since typically the work of both have a cyclical relationship on each other. Based on personal experience I think that both paths would benefit from having knowledge in other areas like software engineering or project management etc.

If I can add DeVops is more of a culture created amongst the coding data field. I'm in class now for the cloud and they mention devops is not a job title even though I have seen before they're job listings include devops like it is a title. Still what I've learned so far is that devops is basically a philosophy upheld by the developers, QA team, and operations team to operate together to collab and form a larger team. Hope that helps.

Without any experience how would I know which option best suits me between Mobile Developer and UI Design?
Sorry it’s been forever before I responded but I think barrier to entry it a little easier with UI because there’s little to no code that you need to learn to get started

I think that places like weworkremotely.com are great for freelance work. And look into local talent agencies for help landing a new job they can be very helpful and knowledgeable
Will AI replace programmers by writing its own efficient code than humans with 99% accuracy or with perfect accuracy in future? I am just curious
If that happens, I doubt we see it in our life time. We (humans) would have to create robots that can do that and that could take a while to get to the point where they outright replace us altogether

I dont understand coding At all But im thinking of going to Boot Camp I just dont have any knowledge of the type of fields

So which is better front end or back end developer?
I don't think one s better than another, it's all in what you enjoy doing and the types of problems you want to solve.
Hey, ima 10th grader and love to become an ai engineer.but before that do u think that developing some webs or apps is required to get started with ai?
I don’t think it could hurt. I would suggest building as many projects as you can in the development language that you want to use to become an AI engineer. python is a really popular one but there are so many others that you should look into

With any of these, unless you have skills that you can build on, you’ll likely need more than 3 months to get the results that you want
