- So what do you ACTUALLY need to start learning how to code? As a beginner coder you may be super overwhelmed with all of the information out there and not know how to break things down to the basics.
Despite what it may seem, getting started with coding does not take a ton of equipment, knowledge or traditional education. All you need are the things I mention in this video and a little discipline to get going!
Keep it simple. The sooner you start the sooner you can advance!

When I was teaching myself to code, the thing that really helped me was printing out the job posting for my ideal role, and writing a deadline date on it as to when I hoped to get that job, or just make the career switch. Then, I taped it in front of my desk where I saw it everyday. Kept me going lol. I made the switch one month before that deadline!
I LOVE THAT IDEA. Write the vision! Definitely going to do that for my goals as well. Thanks for sharing

I learned thru research
Python is a general-purpose programming language, so it can be used for many things. Python is used for web development, AI, machine learning, operating system.
Which one did you choosed to code in . if Im even asking it correctly.
I feep python coding and coding is two different things still.
I definitely need help fine tuning which direction I want to go into when it comes to coding, and I’m definitely going to check out your content to see if it explains things in more detail.

Coding is when you program instructions on a circuit board for a certain machine to do such good things right?

Is it possible one can make a code for a device that can be used to put on domestic animals as detectors to prevent theft
Absolutely! I believe things like that may already exist (like the chips placed in animals at shelters). I would look into the tech of those chips and see what languages are used to program them.

What type of computer (preferably cheap) do you think works best for coding? I have a chromebook but I would like to upgrade.
I actually got started on a Chromebook with Ubuntu downloaded! However if you will be using a downloaded text editor or IDE I think that most basic laptops will do. My suggestion is to go with something with a comfortable keyboard and a good amount of space so that you don't run into problems as you start saving large coding files. In my experience the average computer is suited for getting started in code.
I am finding it difficult to decide which branch of coding to venture into
I completely understand the feeling! I’ve been there. My best advice is to just start with something. The one that feels like the best choice right now. Then you can shift as you begin to learn until you find the right fit
Is there a coding class for cryptocurrency or blockchain?
I'm not 100% sure but if there is one it would either be on udemy.com or edx.org they usually have the best selection and edx is free!

Hi Grace! I usually suggest beginners pick either Python or JavaScript because they are versatile, widely used languages that tend to be beginner friendly compared to others

Daniel! No need to cuss bro! For some people the hard part is the getting started and prepped which is the point of this video. But You can 100% code anything on a Mac that you can on a PC. Most of the devs I know and myself use them.

You did however have an extended keyboard lol so yeah that's kinda the vibe but ehhhh u gotta pretty macBook so it doesn't count... When you start using Machines made by Alienware or MSI or ASUS or ASER, then u serious about coding.. Macs are for pretty pics not back end techy stuff... do you know how to code babes ? ehhh... ion think so.. stick to ur girl power and coffee attractive coffee mugs. leave this nerdy stuff for those who are about that life... ur not about that life. but u look good tho hehe
