I appreciate the knowledge that you have about everyone who is going to be performing. You'd be surprised how many reaction videos where they don't even know that it's the group of LED Zeppelin sitting in the balcony! Or they don't understand the significance of the bowler hat s that the drummer is wearing as well as the choir.
Jason has has actually toured with them before and they're very close. Fun fact: Robert called Jason to invite him to join them that night and he said that he couldn't make it because he had something else going on that night. Robert and the guys were apparently disappointed and a little hurt, because this was a big deal. That's why RP stood up and looked so thrilled and surprised to see him - they had no idea he was going to be part of Heart's homage that night!
It took everything Robert Palmer had not burst into tears. John Bonham was Roberts best friend since they were little boys. LITTLE boys. Jason used his father John's drum kit, the one he used as a member of Led Zeppelin. The bowler hat worn by Jason (was his father's), and worn by the chorus were a tribute to John. It's amazing Robert Palmer didn't melt onto the floor in tears.
If you’re a fan of Kashmir, you MUST do a reaction to the three remaining members plus Jason Bonham performing Kashmir in 2007. Honestly, I think it’s their best version ever.
This is the one you want to react to, but this is the "edited for TV" video of this performance. The full version of this performance is out there too, which is exactly the same performance just without having 3 verses cut out. It's definitely great, but it's not really the band Heart -- it's just Ann and Nancy; the other 4/6 of Heart did not participate.
Was impressed with your knowledge and understanding of the award and the tribute.

Love seeing your dog!
Great reaction my friend! This was the most powerful and best cover of any song I have ever heard!
This was the CBS version, edited for TV time. The full version has additional verses and is incredible.
This one was the shortened version. Loved your reaction!
Listen to the version done at Madison green garden!
