Hi there! The lyrics are about falling in love with a married man and all the lies, deceit and heartbreak that entails. There is also an live acoustic version of "Puzzle". It's just Saiki singing and Kanami on acoustic guitar and backing vocals. This, the full rock version Saiki sings with bitterness almost anger. The acoustic she sings with total despair and heartbreak. It's bone chillingly beautiful. One song, same lyrics, totally different. To find the acoustic "Puzzle" use google, it's not on You Tube. Best wishes.
There's no harder working band on the planet than Band-Maid. They released the Tokyo Garden Theater Live of "Puzzle" on UA-cam shortly before pressing the DVD and BluRay for that show. They re-uploaded it several times, perhaps in response to their fans' comments on the mix. The result is one of the most brilliant live performance videos they had released up to that point. These ladies ROCK and "Puzzle" at Tokyo Garden Theater is my number one submission of evidence to that fact. The Maids continue to top themselves with each new Okyu-ji and new release. Don't let Band-Maid fall off your radar.
The Maids are one of the hardest working super groups in the business! Their music, their sound, each of the Maids, and the love that permeates their live events is an experience not to be missed. Hope you can catch them LIVE! SEE YOU AGAIN IN 2024!! 🤘🎀🤘Thx, Jack!
“Blast beat” was the term you were looking for. If you’re into complex layers and dramatic transitions? Band Maid is where to go. “Puzzle” is one of my favorites, both for analysis and for pure enjoyment. That breakdown and build up into the guitar solo should be used as inspiration for aspiring musicians. “Blooming” is another one of their progressive, post hardcore masterpieces. If you have another bad day? The doctor prescribes “Band Maid, Po!”
When someone reacts to "Puzzle" electric, the Maidiacs require the reactor to react to "Puzzle" acoustic. Just Saiki and Kanami, almost sounds like a different song, but it isn't. On the acoustic Saiki is another level and Kanami sings!! "Puzzle" was the song set the hook in me as a FAN. Earlier version is a little different, a bit less of Miku on her guitar.
It's Burst Beat, but Akane says what she does is not Burst Beats, though she doesn't say what it is. Maybe it doesn't have a name. It's more controlled than a Burst Beat. There's a rhythm to it. However, if you haven't already, the acoustic version is worth checking out, even if you don't do a reaction to it.
Happy Birthday Akane , Happiest Drummer on the planet

Couldn't agree more! See you in 2024!!!
"Engaging" is a very good word to describe Band-Maid.

Kanami’s guitar sounds heavenly. She is The Special One 🔥🤘❤️🇫🇮

BAND-MAID are a force of nature Live!
Have you seen the new House of the Dragon and Dune 2 trailers have dropped?
Not yet but I will be reacting to them soon.
