Or worrying whether their educated or uneducated guess could be bettered by the others. You have "wrong person answering" and if someone in a team gets an easy one wrong then if they are alone, like The Chaser, they have to answer whereas they might clam up and leave to their teammates for fear of jeopardizing it again or they have to look around to see if anyone has any idea before they say "Pass".Add tose things up and,a player in a team,is less likely to get on "a roll" like The Chaser can, without distraction and the odds start to mount against them AND The Chaser knows at what speed they need to go, depending on the target set.

I notice the time is limited with the buzzer and announcing of names. The chase goes through with none of this. Watching the time go through a couple of seconds makes all the difference. It seems unfair.
Bradley always says "it's a massive advantage, you've got to make it pay" when they get steps ahead start. Is it though? That 'advantage' is eroded away by buzzer, names and pauses. The Chaser can just go for it.
The best part about uk quiz shows is their shows questions are not specific to their country only. In contrast, Americans make their show with fast-paced questions with no fun and only USA-specific questions (They do love living in the bubble and hate intelligence) I love how the uk show includes questions about all his major colonies: India, USA, Australia and Canada
Check the clock, the clock was speeded up ,that wasn’t an ordinary 2mins,it was more like 1min 30,they have to let the teams win sometimes & this was fixed
No matter which set of questions the panel chooses, I personally find I can answer more of the chaser's questions than the panels. Also the chaser can listen behind the scenes to how well the panel perform. Psychological advantage??
Not that deep lol. The question sets are randomly chosen by the team. They get a head start and push backs so that makes up for having to buzz in(unless there is only 1 contestant left). Bradley reads the questions as fast as the contestants/chaser is answering them. He’s said in a statement I read somewhere addressing this, that he tries to match the pace of the people answering. Plenary of shows the chases set has been much harder, just your luck as sets are randomly chosen.
