Violin01 it was a really unfairly worded question
In most cases you would not be asked to give more then TWO decimal places of pi, which of course is 3.14. To be asked to three is a real stinker because you could do what the lad here did and miscalculate it

Remember you have to round up because four digits of pi is 3.1415.
