- A video showing you what the requirements are for making the strongest possible sorcerer build in this game. Note: In the past, Dexterity increased casting speed, it looks like the same is true this time around as well but not by much even though that information is hidden. Only a faith of 28 is required in order to use Sacred Oath (you can also use Sunlight Straight Sword) anything more is not required so you can spend the rest of your points however you want to.

Finally, a build viable for PVP!
I know you're joking around, because this is 410. I got my ass perfected by a Pyromancer yesterday while using Gotthard Twinswords, he was at level 120 and was animation canceling, dodging like a boss, and attacking with a curved sword when he could get in the extra damage. The skill in that player was so incredible that I think most of the community couldn't play that well, and would need a slightly stronger build.

A super good player can make bare hands work, if something is viable it means that someone of equal skill can fight on equal ground using their respective builds.

You could've made this build even stronger by steady chanting with sage staff in left hand and firing sorceries with court sorcerer staff in the right.
but shhh let them think this is the best sorc damage lol.

well even though this was a bit of a disappointment considering I don't want to have to die until I'm level 410; the video does show how to have the "ultimate" sorcerer build.

Plus, for max casting speed, you only need 25-30 Dex with ring or 40 without the ring.
max casting speed is at 50 dex though.
+Alex Higgins as has been said max cast speed appears to be at 50 or atleast there is a very big soft cap there and the ring accounts for 30 dex and accounts for 35 when +1 and 40 when +2 so your numbers are just terrible.
Meta lvl 120 rip
U need only ~50 dex to reach cap of castspeed. Or use ring with 25 dex to get the same castspeed like with 50 dex.

With INT and FTH that high, the crystal chime will deal more damage than court. Right now I'm sitting at 50/50 and crystal is the highest one, even more than sage. Also, going past 50 on a scaling stay is pointless, you are better off with all evenly at 50.
Court sorcerer staff at 99 int = 254,
while crystal chime at 50/50 = 224.
I don't know if crystal chime would surpass court sorcerer staff if u invest 99/99, but i highly doubt it.
The real strong alternatives would be either Archdeacon greatsaff or golden ritual spear if u invest 99 faith as archdeacon staff at 60 faith = 241, while court sorcerer staff at 60 int = 238.
So, i wish if someone test these faith scaling staves at 99 faith.
+obelislifera scaling past 50 does not increase considerably, is minuscule the stats gained. So if the crystal chime at 50/50 deals more damage than court, then is safe to assume that at 99/99 it will still deal more damage.
squalltheonly actually the soft cap for int is 60 as logan staff
at 40 int = 167
at 50 int = 202 (10 levels=35 increase),
at 60 int = 238 (10 levels=36 increase),
at 99 int = 254 (40 levels=16 increase).
another point is, u only need to reach 60 int which is achievable in SL125, while your suggested build u need 100 stat points to make 50/50, but 40/40 is only achievable in SL125.
crystal chime at 40/40 = 216
crystal chime at 50/50 = 224 (20 levels= +8)
crystal chime at 60/60 = 232 (20 levels= +8 at best)
crystal chime at 99/99 = 236 (80 levels= +4 at best)
then, what is the point of crystal chime?
simply so u can with this build 40/40 to cast every magic even hexes with highest damage possible when using crystal chime (sorcery/miracles), izalith staff (dark sorcery), caitha's chime (dark miracles) and lastly pyro.flame (pyro. and dark pryo.) JACK OF ALL TRADES.
+obelislifera but have you actually compared the two dealing damage? Cuz the buff stat is not what dictates the amount of damage spell tools deal, that is something else.
I cannot test with 99/99 cuz that would mess up my build. I'm aiming to have all scaling stats at 50.

More than 50 in dexterity is pointless. You should’ve maxed faith instead for dark spells, hexes, regular and dark pyromancies, etc.
Even with these points I would not put in strength or endurance best things work best with low lvls in certain weapons
The thing is, the scaling with intelligence for Caitha's chime only affects dark miracles. So Sacred Oath only takes the faith scaling. This is if they didn't change that.
He should be using crystal chime at those high INT/FTH stats, is the strongest for miracles, not even yorshka compares.

The thing is, Yorshka's has the best miraclededicated one, from 49 faith and up. Below that, other chimes are better.

Seriously though... Why would anyone ever go above 40 Endurance? Am I missing something? You could have put those points in Vigor and Vitality and had a much better build...

Hi, I'm responding to a 3 year old comment, but the cap for cast speed is 50 dex unless you want to use the sage ring
It's not really a build at lvl410. I mean maybe for ng+20 but other than that , usually a build video is for ng or pvp.

Don't level Endurance to 99, leave it at 40 and put the rest into Intelligence and Faith, or get 27 Vigor.

the dex stat cast speed maxes out at 30 or at 10+ castspeed ring
Loyds Swordring also doesnt increase cast dmg
Sacred Oath only increases defence and atack rating, not cast dmg

its sort of obvious being 410 (290 levels above most people) is gonna be the strongest, is there a strongest 120 sorcery build? or does magic still suck that much in 3?
My lv120 build for a sorcerer is:
VIG 25
ATT 50
END 25
VIT 7
STR 10
DEX 12
INT 60
FAI 8
LUC 12
Since you have to switch out a bunch of rings to be truly effective with each spell school, I prefer to go full sorcerer and use only chaos pyromancies and ditch faith altogether. *shrug* might not be for everyone!
+Eddie Henley Magic (Sorcery) did not suck in either darksouls 1 or 2 but in 3, jeah it does suck. You can try to make it work but i would recommend using a dex build, pyromancy or even a faith build.
Lithrasil so... I never said magic sucked in 1 and 2, i only ever said 3 so that point is gone but I was thinking of a str faith build anyways.

Level 410 - cheated or just farming ? If farming - how long and where ? Im at 150 now and it took me like 3 weeks.

+xIchxhaltx x It's pretty easy to farm the winged knights on top of lothric castle. If you equip a silver serpent ring along with the mimic helm and shield of want, you can get around 80-90k souls per run on NG

+Internet Raccoon most stats only softcap at 40 or so but you still recieve benefits from leveling further, attunement still gets another slot at 99, and for spells int and faith both softcap clear up at 60 much further than 40 and even then its not that bad past that, as for the dex and endurance well fair enough you win there putting that quite that high is very stupid.

so beyond 40 dex you wont be any faster at casting spells.
this build is clearly an experiment. unless you like getting one shotted or want some challenge these stats dont make sense.

ik I'm 4 years late, but farming the 3 angels on top of the grand archives bonfire give 13k each, hard to fight but worth it
Use the Rapport pyromancy on the golden angel knights atop the grand archives where the hunter's ring is

+Kamarri Smith most pvp builds are either all normal just weapons and throwing knives or melee pyro hybrids right now. Sorcery can insta kill stuff like no other, but the required level for their damage to be even good it higher than the pvp meta. Also long cast times broadcast to players "rolling attack me pls" that is the issue with faith right now too

Uh. Okay. Besides the fact that this was trolley, it wasn't even "ultimate" due to the lack of full faith investment.
Since you need to equip 3 rings for each school (clutch + boost + greatly boost rings) to get the most out of each school of Magic (so obviously can't equip them all) it's actually better not to be a hybrid build imo. You'll do piss poor damage without the rings.

At 50 intellect with +10 court sorcerer staff and rings i get anywhere from 200 to 450
+Ikelos intellect dosen't really start scaling damage till after 50, 60 intellect will hit around 800+ with court sorcerers and , clutch, young and bellowing rings.

From 50 to 55 intellect my MGS gained 5 AR.
Spells did just a little bit of extra damage.
We're talking 10 extra on Crystal Soul Spear.

This person need a real life :( Attunment 99 for extra slot while Vigor 10? Really? How more mana and few extra useless spells will make you stronger in PVP with super low health? You need like 5-6 spells for pvp. So much waste of time here. SL150 is enough for everything.

this build is pointless... you have surpassed the Meta for PvP, and all you have done is maxed stats like any noob who has the Souls to do it would. this isnt the Ultimate Sorcery build. this is 'i did the Souls glitch and started maxing out stats" delete video. i think what bothers me the most is you actually wasted souls on leveling attunement to 99. Vigor is so important. You may boast high magic, but this build would be destroyed by an invader thats 300 levels beneath you with 2 swings from the Fume UGS.

+MnOstrik if everybody just maxed stats, pvp would be boring and there'd be no build variety. 120 is as high a level as you need to make effective builds, while being a low enough level to access that you can still find pvp matches. theres no point going to level 400
