Combustion engines need three things to operate: fuel, air, and spark. If your fuel pump isn’t delivering the fuel your engine needs, it will run poorly, or not at all. Or, the pump is fine, but your fuel gauge isn’t working. Many modern pumps include an integrated sending unit. Either way, a new engineered to fit fuel pump for TRQ is just what you need. This video shows you how to install a new TRQ fuel pump with integrated sending unit in your 2006-2012 Honda Civic.

Not to criticize but I would have started the car to see if everything was okay BEFORE putting all the seat crap back in. I did love the video because my son has an 06 Civic and I’m definitely investing in an adjustable spanner wrench just in case.

I wonder why they change video at the point of trying to replace the locking ring. If it's anything like mine was, the new part didn't fit, even with the new lock ring. I had to reuse the old lock ring instead. Also, don't place the rubber gasket on the pump before placing it into the tank. Place the gasket in the opening and then put the pump through it as you're placing it into the tank, otherwise it's gonna take forever and possibly damage the gasket bc it constantly pinches up and you're stuck trying to compress the pump spring while also trying to keep the gasket from getting caught on the side and pinching out.

What's the best fuel pump assembly on 1AAuto for a 2008 Honda Civic Si 2.0 L engine?
So I try to push it in an the rubber around the pump on the top, I push down an it won't go down all the way.... I see you open the gas tank cap. I didn't th8nk that's why? Got 2 car seats back there so before I rip them out an the seat I would like to know brother. Happy 4th man!!!🎉

My only complaint with the TRQ replacement is that its A LOT louder than the original. I replaced mine because my car has 195k and am considering doing the job again with another pump just because of the noise.

Great video, glad you showed putting everything back together as well. Only issues I saw was not installing the missing bolt on the back seat lower brace, and you reinstalled the seat belt into the guide, but left the buckle behind the guide. Otherwise very informative 👍

Hey rymo when you installed the new pump did you remove that lil clip with notches and place it on the new fuel pump

Good video, but is that correct ,88flbs for the collar torque, sounds an awful lot for a plastic collar.

they put the new fuel pump in them right before the reconnect the lines the pump is dirty prolly swapped out with the old pump so u can hear how loud this one is….. i was reading reviews and was skeptical about ur product and now i’m sure to not buy from you guys
