Death by stereo, and Good Times by Inxs is cranking , love this 80s classic, just dont make em like they did in the day ! My older brother use to blast this soundtrack in 87/88 I was a bit younger so I had to wait a year or so till I could watch it (about 10 or so) , but the music always stood out because of those memories !
‘Buff saxophonist ‘ is Timmy capello (Tina turners saxophonist from the early 90’) the character features in the recent comics of the lost boys too from Vertigo Comics a 6 part series. Video store chicks role was cut out of the film but her name still appears in the credits as she’d shot a ton of footage
Classic review of a classic movie. Anytime you can squeeze in unnervingly 80's and buff saxophone guy in the same review is clearly legendary stuff lol.
TORGO!!! 😂 This movie was lightning in a bottle: everything from the music to the actors to the atmosphere to the time period to the oily sax player. Absolute classic.
Great request/video. "The Lost Boys" was the first horror experience ever as a kid. its what got me hooked on the genre and the Coreys. Love your videos/channel Jason.
Supernatural Season 6, not sure of the episode, Dean becomes a vampire, but the lore is that after being infected you don't become a vampire until you feed.
I stopped watching after season four. Not because I didn’t like it but because there’s just so many episodes and I just don’t have the time to keep up with the show that goes 100 seasons
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 lol well it does have its ups and downs, but it has been confirmed that there will be only one more season. Hopefully someday you'll get a chance to watch it all and enjoy it! Some really great moments!
Bahahaha! Love your vids sooo much! And you make so many spot on points! Especially about how girls perceive dude whether she is into them or not. Ha! Keep them coming!!!
Great review as always I literally watch your videos eveynight before bed new ones old ones I even rewatch ones I’ve seen I love what you do on your channel every video you drop is great I hope u can make this your full time job someday
Lol "have to take the chance to be a creeper" No lie I've seen this movie at least 50 times... Goonies is the only other movie I've seen more. This is an all-time favorite if mine. Love the review.
I vote Laser Blast as the best watch for first time mst3k. Great review, I agree the opening credits are perfection especially with the doors song (just wish it wasn't an echo and the bunnymen cover)... someone had a Morrison obsession; between Michael looking exactly like him, the poster in the vampire den, and the 2 or 3 doors songs. BTW I don't know how watching videos of a man in his garage talking about movies became a part of my nightly ritual... but it really did
It’s a cover?? Oh wow. I thought it sounded a tad off last night! Thought I was crazy! Hahaha. And if you’re gonna spend time with a man in the garage you could do worse... or better. I’m kinda in the middle 😱
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 vampire films 🤔 have to be lost boys From dusk till dawn thats a sexy are film may i add Fright night 1 and 2 80s of course And vampires with James woods
I have both the sequels i got them for $5 on blu-ray. They are not good. At all. And i absolutely love the original Lost Boys sooo much. I do agree the movie moves a little to fast and the end is like bam credits. I love the imagery of Sutherland at the end with the those huge i forget the name of goat/deer type they are but the bright red like suspiria bright red at the end. Beautiful. Dose need more carnage. I guess they did cut 2 deaths and the campfire scenes was almost cut to nothing. That one shot of that one guy getting his mohawk ripped/scalped of his head is awesome but blink and u miss it. I honestly don't think it deserves or really warrants a R- rating we need a pg-15 rating in the states. But Lost Boys. I've watched probably watched it 50 times not exaggerating.
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 there are a couple the original Fright Night and these i watch like once a week going to bed for a nostalgia blanket ans to have awesome dreams anyways yeah 1 ) Fright Night 2) Friday The 13th: The final Chapter. 3) The Thing (John Carpenter's version) 4) American Werewolf in London 5) Suspiria(original) 6) Alien 7) its not Horror but (True Romance) 8) Evil Dead 2 I think thats it on 30+ to 50+ viewings including commentaries. Ans its weird to because there's a couple of the 8 films that are not one of my favorite movies of all time they just i guess like a drug or medication they make me feel a certain way that helps me relax or rurn my brain of and i won't be bored or oh I've seen this ro many times. But i have pancreatitis so unfortunately i get alor of unwanted long slots of not being able to leace my house. Im getting better though. So i don't re-watch or study certain films as much as i used to in my late 20's early 30's im 37 so anyways im foing of course here. Please don't scoff at me saying ive seen those that many times. I really have. And when i get back to work your one of the only channels i would have a ton of fun being a Patreon so i can request a films for the channel 👍🎥💀👌
That thing when the vamps maje Michael see worms n maggots. The only rime I've seen vamps to that was in the show True Blood they called it two different things the first is males gan "glamour" wemon or men i guess. They call it somthing else also bur only in True Blood i forget the 2nd word for it. Who knows if its original Lore or not.
Great movie with a fantastic soundtrack. I own all 3, but I have yet to watch either of the sequels. From what i have heard part 2 is terrible and the 3rd one is meh at best.
Sinister Cinema Reviews good because I’m watching them tonight. It’s got Taylor Townsend from The O.C and sex machine from Dusk till Dawn. It’s going to be gloriously awful.
"People Are Strange" is AWESOME - Bought the soundtrack back in the day
Great pick up

So much baby oil on that guy... not sure how he could hold on to his sax.
Not-Quite-Final Girl he must have put cement dust on his hands like they do with oil spillages in Formula 1
Katie Woo carefully... only on the palms.
Not-Quite-Final Girl yep from one of those bowls that gymnasts have full of chalk for grip

Tim cappello song he is singing is " I still believe " on the soundtrack, for the movie also awesome !

The Ridiculous Brunette it’s true. Men need to be careful
Fright Night and The Lost Boys are the best vampire movies of the 80's.
The only thing I wish is that the fight at the end with Michael and David had been longer, other than that classic all around, r.i.p Corey Haim.
Rip indeed
Top film, getting to meet most of the cast here in Manchester (UK) at a con called For the Love of Horror in October! Woo hoo lol
Love the lost boys
Who doesn’t?

This is a great film. I hate to refer to it as a classic, but it is. At least the vampires don’t sparkle!
Because that makes you feel old?

Great review! FaceTime averted😉...this is one of my top ten favorite movies of all time..not just horror but movies in general!
