- Aldi have just released a Luxury Advent Calendar which seems to be 'inspired' by Jo Malone. It costs £49.99. I opened it up to see what the products were like inside and if it was worth the money.

I’d love to know how people can shop so cheap but not sacrificing on the food they eat. This has nothing to do with this video god what’s up with me today 🤦🏻♀️

I got a velvet rose and oud candle in Aldi last week. It is my fave scent from Jo Malone too and was my wedding perfume, I couldn't resist. I feel better burning the Aldi versions then my Jo Malone ones that's for sure. Great video!

Sent my husband at opening time to Aldi to pick this up yesterday. Can’t wait to start opening it from December 1st, after watching this! 😍 x
After seeing this I think I'll definitely get some of the room sprays and candles. The hand cream etc are all wasted on me so I probably won't get the calendar as I'd only use 50% of the items in it. I love your videos though, and the drawers that you have in the background are so nice.

I really wanted this but think it’s pretty expensive for Aldi and considering the full size bottles of everything are like £3/£4 x

It is beautifully presented and the products inside really remind me of the classic Chanel packaging.
Simple, perfect lines with an unmistakable elegance.
I would love this for Christmas or any other time of year.
The added bonus of being able to use the packaging after the products are all finished is a massive plus and will fit in to any room decor. Aldi, true genius.

Hi Kate , they did the freesia and pear , pomegranate and lime and mandarin eau de toilette in 100ml glass bottles for £4.99 , think was jan/feb this year , I bet they are planning to bring some out again x
I already have the large size of the lime basil and a room spray in some of the fragrances. Jo Malone EDT doesn't last long on me anyway, so Aldi is no worse for me and so affordable. At Christmas they have sets of three of the candles which are smaller than the full size, but bigger than the calendar ones which lasted about 30 hrs for me. I'm on a tight budget, but Aldi allows me to have some treats 😊

I don't know why you're so surprised that the items are nice. Most of the cost of products like Joe Malone are because they are 'designer' names. Nothing to do with the quality of the products. Most people can't tell the difference.

I have the large versions of the Pomegranate and the Freesia and Pear fragrances and the Pomegranate is my go to. I also have the Jo Malone Freesia and Pear perfume and it is my absolute favourite but the Aldi one is comparable and I feel pretty happy using that one as an everyday one and the Jo Malone as a special use. They only did the perfumes as a limited run but I'm hoping they will bring them back in the new year as they are great and I prefer the scents over the candles etc although they are very nice too.
Its so sad that Aldi doesnt do this range in Belgium because I would buy it and actually I know many women who would do too!
I don't think they do it in France either, it is sad.

It’s because Jo Malone is a English brand. They don’t know if others countries will like it.
I have such mixed feelings about Aldi doing this. On one hand it’s fab there’s more of an affordable ‘dupe’ on the market but on the other it’s like, when does it stop being ‘dupe’ and become just blatant copying? Aldi are also doing it with Pixi currently. Fab video though Kate x

I understand why people would have mixed feelings but I think companies do it so that they cater to all customers,as some people can’t afford jo malone and other more luxury products ,so they make replica products that smell similar but do their cheaper version,so it’s more affordable x

I have the Aldi freesia and pear room spray and I couldn't rate it more. Such a lovely scent and it lasts ages! I've also had the pomegranate candle too and it's one of my faves (along with the BlackBerry one)

No11 peony blush is my favourite sent in Aldi, I have the reed defuser and candle, not seen the perfume 6store yet x this is a great value calendar at just over £2 An item & an amazing box too
Looks a lot like jo malone products, I used to work at the factory where we produced jo malone and the packaging is extremely similar I love this ❤️
They do the eau de toilette sprays in 100ml bottles. I have them in freesia and pear, lime, basil and mandarin and pomegranate xx

I mean they sell that and then they get the newest dyson vacuums in at a fraction of the price if you get it from a hardware store because it's a seasonal product, so aldi is really just a mix and match of a shop at this point.

You can't copyright a scent, only the packaging so you can get 'branded' perfumes for A LOT less from places like FM fragrance

I helped make the EDTs where I work and we have done 2 batches of most of the EDTs as the calendars sold out in 2 days but there should be more on the way very soon and we have done some full sized EDTs in the past
I wear aldi no 11 toilette and it lasts all day long on me .and the candle burns for ages also and smells lush in your home .

This looks amazing. I have a lot of no Malone. The pomegranate reed diffuser by aldi is gorgeous. The peony blush aldi candle is really nice as well. I wish aldi would bring out the perfumes. I found the blackberry bay by jo Malone smelt of a Tom cat smell 😂😂. Great vlog. Xx

I'm really surprised at the quality of this. Your video was very good and balanced. I think the numbers on the products should correspond to the days, so possibly No 24 was one of the more special items.

The Aldi here in Raleigh, NC needs to up it's game, they don't sell anything like that at all, but at about $63.00 it would be the most expensive thing in the whole store. You can come home from Aldi with 15 bags of groceries for $63.00 and that includes a couple bottles of wine 😎 I'd buy it if it ever showed up at the Aldi here. Aldi, make that happen. Thanx
Update: So I went to Aldi & there happened to be 3 boxes left & I bought the one I thought hadn't been "interfered with" so to speak!!! Delighted!

I wish we had this in the USA. We have Aldi but they don't carry the amount of products they do in the UK. Most of what they have is food at ours and I've only shopped there twice in the past year because of that. Going to think about ebaying one lol.
