Becuase Fleur is so thurough about giving aaall the information on everything, she ends up having to present an organized list and just repeat the same sentences. It's crazy because then the edited video always seems so chill and candid. Moments like this help remind me, at least, how this job is that of a beauty reporter. There's a lot of ressearch, practice, and time devoted to each video that is totally equal to a traditional job.
Please could you do a video for more affordable beauty calenders, say £50 or less? I know the M&S one is more affordable, but the others are out of my budget 😳 Love your festive videos x

I agree. I could not bring myself to purchase something so expensive for samples... Although, if i got one as a gift I'd probably quite enjoy it. I also have tried many many samples, and of different price lines of products and I'd say about fifty percent of the time, the most premium is actually NOT my favorite item. So, in that case, it's difficult for me to think of the value in terms of what each individual sample would cost and more about how much i could buy (or try) myself that would be worth the same amount... I hope I'm explaining that well enough.
Best beauty advent calendars I've seen not mentioned yet-Fenwick, Jo Loves (fragrance only Jo Malone), SpaceNK , Harrods, Lumene and the Kiehls only at Selfidges-also Body Shop and some others have 2 or 3 sizes at different price points. This is just the beginning of the best part of the year!

Just seen your comment. Yes my choice is Fenwick's, it was £150 and worth well over £400! I had a peek at the first 3 boxes and was impressed. It's waiting in my cupboard as a special treat and smells divine! At the other end I also think the Next one deserves a mention, £25 and fab glittery style, feels like Christmas and no cheap emery boards, applicators or cheap fillers in sight. I got that as well.
I have to say, the L'Occitane calendar really knocks it out of the park for me. I love their hand-creams and scents and the calendar design itself is awesome... so so cool. This could be that many of the other brands are foreign to me but I just love that one.
Fenwick's Beauty Advent Calendar is the one I have chosen. It has full size mac lipstick, nars, terry, Elizabeth and James fragrance, etc, etc. Loving it.
Your advent calendar reviews are always so in depth! Love watching them as I could never afford any of these calendars (except maybe the M&S one!) and it’s lovely to see all the luxurious products!
The design of the inside of the diptique calendar is so magical! Of course I love the starry exterior of the Charlotte Tilbury calendar. You always look so excited to do these, love your energy :)

I'm surprised that the ELLE advent calendar didn't make the top 10. From all the videos that I've seen so far it's definitely up there for me. But Fleur as always love the video, you always smash it out the park when it comes to reviewing advent calendars x

Just dont get these calendar sets, paying around £300 for all small products why not just go use £300 to buy what you actually wanna buy. Love the video and her review just personally not a fan on these advert calendar 😂
Thank you for being honest in your reviews and calling out ridiculous prices for sizes and also for filler products. These advent calendars actually make a little sick because they are unaffordable to a lot of people. My boyfriend gives me the M&S one every year and I love it. Fav items in it this year is the pixi rose tonic and this works pillow spray
My fave this year is Fenwick's, released on Tuesday, it arrived today. It's £150 for over £400 worth of products, brands like Clarins, Clinique, Aromatherapy Associates, many others. Specially designed for them by a designer whose name escapes me. Love it, not sure I can wait til December x
