@@zhaoyun255 If you know how to use Luke right, you can absolutely rely on him for physical attack and defense. Ofc he's slower than Guy, but with the correct specs + strength he can dispatch enemies with just a few swings. In my main team (Luke, Tear, Jade, Natalia) he's solely the physical disher. Then again, it really depends on your play style!

By NG+, where Luke is supposed to shine with his new toy Lost Fon Drive, I already had to beat the game to get to the good part. Physical Fighters scaled terribly in this game higher difficulty unless your name is Natalia. Guy at least made up for the Speed and evasion with quick AOE control until the spell fired off. Guy FOF artes worked well together with other party member and he hardly every got hit. Luke is like Estelle in a sense that his/her role was redundant. Luke got up by Guy while Estelle got up by Yuri, Repede, Flynn, Raven, and even Karol in her healing role.
@@pn2294 Waiting to beat the game just to get to the good stuffs for Luke was a VERY long time. This is speaking from a maxed out save file in the PS2 era and even did the Vorpal Sword trick. His role was redundant since Guy was there.

Which is weird because Koyasu nails the troll role as Shu Shirakawa and the character predates Jade by nine years... I would have liked his Jade more if he'd just used the same tone as with Shu. (In b4 they dub SRW, Kirk plays Shu and one-ups him again.)

Always a good idea to take out Jade first not because he castes powerful artes but his mystic arte is OP as hell when he's the last foe standing and could instantly kill everyone in one shot. This is annoying to do since Sophie chases after the player controlled character protecting Jade.
Jade with that enrage mode prolonging the fight for like 3 mins all by himself. Does Sophie goes nuts as well if you drop her hp low and kill Jade first?
from watching this in english. I realized how annoying in a fight would if every move you make you shout at them. hearing in japanese seems natural but in english wow so much breath wasted fighting
This really should’ve been a 4 team battle. The cameo battle is lacking another offense and woefully lacking a healer. I’d put in Flynn Scifo from Vesperia as the front-line fighter and Raine Sage as the healer.

I had Jade on less than 1000 hp left and in the middle of a juggle combo which my AI interrupted allowed him to Mystic Cage my entire party and I lost...... fuuuuuuuuuuuuu

It looks so strange to see Jade in a more updated model. I've gotten so used to his ToA sprite that he looks like a giant here.
