Your title had me intrigued until I realized you're NOT using the back of the folder, but the REVERSE of the embossed image. The technique is fun and have been playing with for a while now. Turns out there are a few ways to do it...not all successful, but still interesting.
This is an absolute stunner Michelle! Such a cool technique which I must try. It's really striking with the black against those blues and greens. Fabulous!
This is beautiful 💙 what weight/gsm of card do you use? (gsm would help as I live in the UK) I was thinking a heavier cardstock might give more definition on the embossing? What are your thoughts?
Thank you very much for your kind comment. I am using Neenah 110lb Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. According to the company, it is 297 gsm. I agree that heavyweight would be helpful for the embossing but if you went too high, I think the cardstock would be more susceptible to cracking. You could mist the cardstock first with water though and that would help. I am just not a big fan of doing that personally. I hope that helps!
I adore this! What a fabulous yet simple technique. The tag is beautiful Michelle - the colours just pop!
