Hi Jennifer, I don’t have Instagram and it’s not even letting me look at each item let alone bid. I wish this could have been on a platform that didn’t need a log in. Do you have any ideas on a work around?
What a lovely surprise to see Michelle Short on your channel today! She is so creative and does such lovely work always, she's one of my favorite Altenew artists! These cards turned out so pretty, love the dry and heat embossing and that ink blending is just soooo smooth and lovely! Great work.
What a lovely surprise to see Michelle Short as a guest today. Absolutely gorgeous cards. I have been a fan of Michelle's very clean and simple cards for a long time. They are always stunning. Thanks Jennifer and Michelle.🥰
Great video! Beautiful cards too!! Your voice Michelle is so soothing. I think I may have dozed off a little since I was so relaxed, but I do believe that I absorbed the information subconsciously😂 Man, Altenew is doing a bang up job with their products!! They have nailed it in the past couple yrs. with their embossing folders, layering stencils, inks etc.
Beautiful cards! Love, love, love, her way of layering sentiment dies. I have a hard getting the layers straight before the glue dries. This way will totally help me get them straight and go much faster. Going to use that from now on. Thanks to Michelle for being a guest for Jennifer.
I've used the negative space from die cutting for quite a while to line up additional layers, but also to ensure that thin script sentiments don't get distorted. I've used a similar technique with peel-offs. I like to use foam tape on the entire back of a layer, but I think the cost of the rolls is prohibitive, so I ordered a couple of packages of black and of white foam sheets to use instead of the strips. You can order it with a sticky back on one side. I use double sided tape on the other. I works as well as the foam tape strips and is much for economical. It can also be die cut to fit odd shapes. I try to be thrifty when I can which frees up money for more stamps, dies, embossing folders, etc. Thanks for the tutorial.
Lovely to see Michelle on your channel .. she is a very talented card maker . Absolutely stunning use of embossing folders .. wow very inspiring thanks
Thank you so much. That was so that I could keep the panel still while I added the white ink on top, rather than having to hold it down with my fingers and get finger marks in the ink that’s already there.
Thank u Michelle for sharing these techniques w/ us. It’s so nice when a crafter I watch takes the time to really explain the techniques. Ur cards were beautiful.
These cards are lovely, I've never used this technique of using the heat embossing over the dry embossing as a highlight, and I am a HUGE fan of Michelle's! Thanks for sharing this Jennifer!
Great ideas! I always struggle with lining up the sentiments to stack them. This is an outstanding trick! Gorgeous cards! Thanks for sharing your talent!!😊

Those are just beautiful!
Beautiful cards.
Just wondered why you put the white pigment ink on your sticky mat instead of the glass mat.
Thank you so much. That was so that I could keep the panel still while I added the white ink on top, rather than having to hold it down with my fingers and get finger marks in the ink that’s already there.
SWOON!!! Love these!!
Beautiful cards, fun technique. I appreciate that Michelle showed all those tips too. Thanks for the video.
