- NEWFOUNDLAND BROOK TROUT, MAY 2023, 60 Minutes from the capital city of St. John's we had the perfect day exploring new water, catching some awesome fish and had a big Newfoundland feed to boot. These are the days we all dream of.
Rod showed me a couple of new ways to set up my tackle for trout, which I will 100% be using in the future, considering he severely out fished me on this trip.

Thanks for your video. A lot of what you show is on or near my trapline. It has been ages since Rod and I have connected. Rod is the Leonardo da Vinci of taxidermists. I saw his work first-hand many years ago in Codroy Valley. Would like to shake hands with that man again.

I think that was the reel he was using when we fished in pt a bay and he had red hair....go rod
He likes that reel for sure.. I actually got the whole story about it, and how he bought a new one this year, suppose to be the same, but the quality has changed.

it was a sinking Rapala, black on top and silver o bottom .. maybe 1.5 inches long,, and I had some but not tjst colour
, so yep I did bub a couple lol
