That thing hooks
Well, it does. Sometimes I feel like it's leading the way, and I am just enjoying the ride in the back seat :)
Oh shit cool. I didn't think you'd make a video with my rates lol. Looks great to me... But how does it feel?
Hello my friend! Experienced pilot such as yourself has probably alredy noticed my half spins/rolls, kind of unfinished "tricks". It's the case with every single one of my "testing rates" videos, and it's because it takes me some time to get a feel. I am so used to Patrick Watkins and Mr.Steele rates now, that it will take couple of packs until I get the right feel. For now, all I can say, I have no trouble in controling my quad with your rates, and they feel really smooth and natural to handle. I am just sorry I didn't wait for a proper flight recording and upload that, but I love doing this just because it's so interesting to me watching my first attempts with some rates, and then where I end up when I am completely comfy with them. They are amazing, but as you can see, I am not that great of a pilot (yet), and still learning. I love your rates!
@@Seii-FPV Thanks for the kind words! Don't be afraid to make changes based on what you like, and how you want the sticks to feel.
And don't kid yourself, you're a great pilot.
Aww, thank you so much! You see, words like this, coming from someone who flies like a Top Gun pilot themselves, means a world to me. It pushes me forward and makes this FPV journey even more enjoyable. In the beginning, I've heard a lot of _"...don't even try, don't even bother..."_ comments in couple of FB FPV groups, and while the truth is, it was kind of discouraging, I tried not to pay too much attention. Just about a year and a half ago, I was asking for advices on how to dive into building my own custom 5", and received quite a low number of positive responds. Two friends only were really supportive, but they live across the ocean, and it was quite a challenge to stay in constant touch (huge time difference)... but here I am, still learning by the hour, and enjoying this ride like no other activity in my whole life. I just wish I found it much sooner, than in my early 50s. I simply don't want to stop doing this 😊 , and literally feel like I'm back to my 20s now 🤪 Is that a bad thing, lol?
@@Seii-FPV I'm 40 years old, though I haven't aged mentally since I was 18. Being in your early 50s and flying as skillfully as you do (especially after so little time) just goes to show you that age doesn't matter, and 'haters gonna hate' . People who discourage others likely can't do it themselves and don't want to see anyone get better than they are.
Imagine shifting to a negative mindset, just to comment on someone's video and piss in their Cheerios. Probably miserable people.
This hobby only truly requires patience. And every second of it is a thrill.
@@MysteryD - wise as it can be! And that's the true value of this activity. I always say, 10 thousand negative people can not ruin it for me, when I have 3 or 4 incredible human beings who visit and comment on my videos on a regular basis. Every single ones of them makes my day my friend, every single one.
