im pretty sure larger animals avoid them just because they carry a lot of parasites. but just about anything will eat a slug if its hungry. theyre like a big sack of defenseless nutrients
Yeah man, your mesage its ok,but it should be more precise, like,we really dont need hedgehogs in the park, where people walk their dogs, wich may attak the hedgehogs anytime. We need more natural parks for wildlife,do NOT keep tall grass on public parks, else it will become very dangerous, specialy for children. All kind of thiks and vipers, black widows, etc etc not to mention rats,if we leave it at the nature's mercy. So,no extreme. Keep wildlife in destined areas 😊
Lol obviously they aren't suggesting we let public parks become overgrown. They're talking about grass on the edge of a treeline, or the side of the road
iv allways hated that about my parents generation, thinking that a natural lawn is somehow bad and they are neurotic about cutting it all the damn time
@@Leto_0this actually is kinda tangentially about lawns, considering they really are terrible for the environment. Lawn monocultures are ecological dead zones that dont support local wildlife and suck up massive amounts of water. If you wanted cool animals and bugs to exist in your yard, let your lawn die and let a meadow grow. Now if you didn't want wildlife to be around its a different story but id rather see myself as a part of the ecosystem than as someone complacent in it its destruction
Fish don’t like slugs, chickens don’t like slugs… come to think of it I’ve never seen an animal eat a slug. Seen hornets eat slugs though
Humans are animals and the french eat snails, which are just slugs with a house
Check out dekays brown snakes.
