@@monking7181 Since I never played that card I did not know, so it was an illegal activation since he played 3rd during his main phase. It must be played first during the main phase 1, without setting and activating other card and summoning card during the main phase 1
I ignored much more than that instance of Chicken Game in this duel. It was a fair victory and no cheating has happened ever!! 👀

I actually love selftk decks.
Self-TK Decks are pretty hilarious and also very fun to brew to see how consistent and fast you can make them.

Also just so you know, there are SO MANY ways to beat yourself in a game of Yugioh quicker. This was done in such a way that it still remained a fun back and forth!

I was wondering when/if I’d see a Wall of Revealing Light/Cyber Stein/Immortal of Thunder kind of field
Was kinda disappointed we didn't see a self-mill style deck that'd work using the old exodia draw engines like toon table of contents and the pot cards.

Or after Leoni got tails on the coin toss, ol’ faithful Gearfried + BDE, announce she’s doing it a trillion times. Even with 3 Solemns, 500 trillion LP is a lot to get through 🤣
It really was a fun watch, there are indeed many different paths to the same destination, but it is often the journey that is remembered. :)

@@CardmarketYGOactually I did the math and if ya had done it in the right order you'd have lost even more, half to 4000 then pay 1000 to 3000 rather than being at 3500 so this misplay actually hampered yourself so I'll allow it lol (continued watching and r realised that would meant you would have won on the turbo cannon turn so even more allow that misplay)
6:34 It's pretty hard to kill yourself while Chicken Game is still on the field.
UNLESS you just ignore that card entirely 👀

0:56 Illegal move right there. Piri Reis Map should be activated at the start of Main Phase 1 like Pot of Extravagance. Since Johny activated Chicken Game, Piri Reis Map should be a dead card.
Can't really think why Leoni doesn't know the Master Duel Self Burn strategy when she's a Master Duel enthusiast.
These cards should be in the Self Burn deck strategy:
Lucky Punch(6k on destruction), Destructive Draw(3k on destruction), Destruction of Destiny(1k per spell/trap), Cybernetic Fusion Support(half LP), Perfromapal Popperup(1k LP for each card on hand), Fairy Wind9used to destrpy lucky punch and destructive draw), Extinction on Schedule(2k), Ring of Destruction(original atk of monster), Trap Trick(trap search)
My favourite one to do is video games is to try and force your opponent to win with Exodia before they can beat you normally. (Probably doesn't work as well if both players are trying to lose though, since "You Get Exodia" doesn't really interact with a self burn deck.)

10:24 Changing Destiny might have been worthwhile here. It not only Negates an attack & Defense-locks the Target, but the target's controller has to choose between gaining LP or burning Changing Destiny's Activator!

the guy cheated on the first turn, piri reis map must be the first thing you activate in your main phase 1, it was the third card he played. "at the start of your main phase 1"
He also cheated again by taking damage from Turbo Cannon when he had the lowest life so Chicken Game prevents that damage.
I am the biggest cheater out there. I was honestly not reading half of my cards. Piri Reis Map was in hand already and could have been activated first, which would have resulted in an even bigger Lifepoint loss to be fair. And once I had my amazing combo ready I totally forgot about Chicken Game. I hope you still had fun! 😂

I'm not saying this to be mean, just for honest feedback. After I noticed that I sort of lost interest in the duel because for me personally I felt the duel was moot since someone got an unfair advantage from a misplay
It’s the first time I watch a duel like this one. I enjoy it soooo much it made my day. I cannot believe how she lower her lives points that many times. Great challenge. God bless you all.

Great video idea! Reminds me of the good old times of XYZ Festival 2021 in Master Duel.
I would've played a strategy focused on giving Masquerade the Blazing Dragon to the opponent and then a resource loop to activate cards until i dropped at super low LP to then finish myself off with some damage effect

WOW! What a fun and creative alternate win condition duel! I'm totally gonna try this with my friends. In a similar vein, my friends and I used to play a game where the first to legitimately fusion summon Rare Fish with the proper materials was the winner. Why Rare Fish? Because it's a terrible vanilla fusion with one of the materials being another terrible vanilla fusion.
Here were the rules:
You had to use Polymerization to fusion summon Rare Fish.
Alternative fusion cards like Instant Fusion and Super Polymerization are banned.
You are not allowed to use anything to substitute fusion materials for Rare Fish.
You are however allowed to substitute fusion materials for Fusionist.
Sometimes we'd switch it up and say first to deal damage with Rare Fish, or only Rare Fish can deal the final blow to end the duel.
I know misplays can happen to us all, and I know we do not know the facedown at the time, but yea the insanely complex/combo that he pulled off with the synchro's etc, would have been ridiculously simplified if they instead summoned the blackwing card and it's token into attack mode, as well as the tokens, then crash them all into Arcana though to be fair she could have just used solemn judgment on the summon of the blackwing to keep him in the game.
Either way it was a fun watch, and you all seemed to enjoy yourselves and sometimes that is far more important than doing something in another way.
EDIT: Yes my play is subjective, and there are plenty of things that can alter things, and yea would have/could have/should have's do not change the outcome, and that is ok, things sometimes play out as they should and it can make things better.
He could have also moved to end phase with the Panzer Dragon still on the field. Instant Fusion destroys Panzer Dragon in the end phase, and Panzer Dragon's effect activates to destroy his own Destruction Draw (after using Chicken Game to destroy itself)
Nice play, however, chicken game.
There were way to many missplays in this one to say what was optimal but I am very certain building a huuuuuuge Accesscode only to tribute it was the most fun! There were many plays that would have killed me in a faster way but we wanted to go for something that is more fun. It felt very much like the butter robot scene from Rick and Morty. 😅

@@xhantTheFirst You can pay a 1000 to destroy it, which is very doable at that point in the game, summon the card first, (it may or may not lure the opponent into a false sense of security/not use the unknown facedown... obviously we are not them, and hindsight can sometimes cause bias into whether we would do something or not.) then pay to destroy it.
I did indeed have to look up what you were meaning/talking about... I totally didn't know about the no taking damage bit. lol... I am so way more familiar with old school yugioh. (I quit when ancient sanctuary came out only because no one else wanted to play it. :()

Honestly I probably couldn't have pulled off that combo you did, due to my lack of knowledge of the synchro cards etc, especially since most of my yugioh knowledge comes from around what most yugioh players in the now would call goat format.

You forgot that while Chicken Game is on the field, the player with lower LP doesn't take damage.
Unless I'm missing something massively, you can pay lifepoints for stuff when Chicken Game is on the field, but cannot take damage. They are mechanically different as far as I'm aware.

@@CardmarketYGO I was mainly looking at the Turbo Cannon play, after that they did start to remember Chicken Game not letting them take damage.
No self-burn FTK? :(
FTK's are no fun to watch sadly. I had several lists that were extremely consistent, but Turbo Cannon was more fun! 😂

Your opponent during your turn can't chain your own chicken game since it is a field spell with an igniton effect, it is spell speed 1 so only speed 2 to 3 can be chain to it, however chicken game if you used the effect of chicken nothing can chain to it, even a spell speed 2 and/ or 3.
Chicken game also states “the turn player”

Illegal move on Johnny's 2nd turn, Piri Reis Map says you can't activate the card's effect you get until the end of your NEXT turn, so on 2nd turn he still couldn't activate Blackwind

Not sure how many people have pointed it out but i counted 4 illegal plays.
1. Piri reis map not being activated at the start of the main phase.
2. Damage take under chicken game.
3. A cyberse monster and a machine monster being used to summon summon sorceress which requires monsters of the same type
4. Summon dice only allows a normal summon on it's effect resolution and setting a monster does not count as a normal summon.
Entertaining duel tho.
Surprised neither duelist chose to do a dedicated deck out deck, as that would technically count as beating themself
I agree, a lightsworn deck would lose faster than them
We decided against that form of winning, we also banned certain cards like Ra, Wall of Revealing Light, Cybernetic Fusion Support etc. as these would make the duel end too fast.

We actually actively avoided cards that could pay too much as they are too strong. It is funny in the moment but very game deciding in the long run 😅

@Cardmarket - Yu-gi-oh!: Less then 7 minutes in and already cheating to lose faster, chicken game the player with the lowest life points does not take damage, that mean this include battle damage and effect damage, he applied effect damage to himself when he got low life points and chicken game is still in play, so his life points should still be at 5,000, not 2,350. It would have work if it was considered a lose of life points, the card specificly says to inflict damage. This is why you should always used a digital system to make sure error like that does not happen, and if their is a timer with the digital system in the lose faster, letting the time run out would not count as a method to lose faster.

i legit feel like this is half of my yugioh master duels is self OTK decks
I feel like you could've done something with Labrynth and Relay Soul to force your opponent to win the duel against their wishes. Also, if banned cards are allowed, Soul Charge could be a good option to lose a ton of LP
We did ban a few cards that are just too strong in this format. Like "Wall of Revealing Light" or "Cybernetic Fusion Support". Soul Charge was amongst those as you can just pay 5000 and kill yourself turn 1 very easily. 😂

Me FTKing myself with 9000 strategies with a borderline 100% consistency while watching this
We found way to many options to FTK yourself. Cybernetic Fusion Support, Garbage Lord and Malevolent Mech - Goku En would FTK yourself by activating only 3 cards and proceeding to end step. Because of that we banned a few to make the format more enjoyable 😁

I see a distinct lack of Power Bonding out Cyber Dragon fusions and then not Attacking...
Why that was not Plan 'A' for either of these two; I will not understand.
I gave them decks that had more back and forth options. No fun to watch someone blow up in turn one!
