The guitar slide at the beginning was added in by me, also you can see how the process of recording typically goes at the very end. Fall down, get back up, try again.. and again... and again.
I wasn't fully happy with this cover.. The last fill is sloppy and there's a few hand patterns that don't line up 100% to the bass drums.. but maybe its only me being WAAAYY too critical. LOL!
Anyways, this is one of those hidden gems off an album that wasn't really that popular from the Motley Catalogue. HOWEVER. I think its WICKED!

Hey man also too, to back off of that, you should consider playing some covers of a really awesome band called Kings of Leon, I don’t know if you know them, but if not, I recommend listening to them! They are a really good group!
Hey Thanks so much!! Ive been working on the snare mix over the past few months to get it sounding "decent" haha I think there's a little more tweaking left though.

Hey Thanks so much Bob! Yeah That Ride is a signature one by an artist named Chris Adler. He played in Lamb of God (pretty Metal stuff). BUT! it rings out so nice in that 80's rock and new age Metal music.

Also that ride is a 24" Chris Adler (Lamb of God) signature. The bell cuts like a mofo haha, but I find the bow rings out SOOO loud haha
I'd probably be using the 22 AAX Metal ride, but I have slowly fallen in love with that meinl.

@@marcus_mayhem its such a beautiful cymbal, The Rev from A7X used it (However, he used the Zildjian Mega Bell for recording). I feel like the next equivalent would be the Sabian HH Power Bell. Just HUGE! and probably 1.2 times the weight of the AAX🤣 (pretty sure Travis from Trivium used those while he was playing with them... I can recommend the 9701 DW Low boom stand. It's heavy as shit and can handle both that ride AND the 17" crash that is "dog-boned" off it as well!
