      I have never polished a car. 😱 The cars did great and the track wasn’t to difficult at this time, but they did make it look easy. Will have to go back into the mud when we get som proper rain there. 😊 The Classic will outrun most modern 4x4 with it’s amazing capabilities and we have only started showing what it can do. 👍

    Don’t miss the music, regular sound track of normal noises is fine.
    Try to do a joint video with your fellow UA-camr and countryman Magnus Mitbo the rock climber. He is always doing different challenges but hasn’t done any off roading. Maybe do a video where you teach him basic off roading and he gets you to do some climbing.

      @@LandRoverDrive that’s the whole point really. Challenging your boundaries makes for good content. Both of you being out of your comfort zones would be great.
      Content with a purpose is always a draw.
      There were some seriously cool rigs at that Land Rover meet. I know it’s hard to do interviews and somewhat painful to watch, but if you do a format where you interview off camera in Norge then film the vehicle and give a rundown in English of specs I think that would make good content.

    • @LandRoverDrive
      @LandRoverDrive  10 місяців тому +1

      @@jdenmark1287 Yeah, totally agree with that, content should have a purpose and a good story. 👍 A modified series would be great but not the easiest to do in terms of language. But I guess with translation and captions it could be worth watching. Just a lot of work translating and adding captions that is good. Will see, can start with people happy to talk English on camera first. 😊

    Thanks for the video. Lets see more Norwegian scenery. A few months ago I bought a 2008 LR3 to replace my P38 for offroading and travel. Just got back from a 10,176km trip through northwest BC, the Yukon and Northwest Territories. Made all the way to Tuktoyaktuk, 69 degrees north. 42 nights in my roof top tent. LR3 made it easy.

    • @LandRoverDrive
      @LandRoverDrive  10 місяців тому

      42 nights! That's sounds amazing, I'm still waiting to do the proper long trip in mine. Did you go from the 4.6V8 P38 to the LR3 4.4V8 ? I have been thinking of a p38 v8 to make a off-road overland build. 🤔 If you go on the channel and look/search for "overlanding in norway" there will be some great videos that shows of some nice Norwegian scenery. You can even start with the video before this one when I drive over Dovre Mountain Range. 😉 Enjoy and stay tuned for the next one. Simon.

    • @gordonwedman3179
      @gordonwedman3179 10 місяців тому +1

      @LandRoverDrive
      Hello Simon. Yes, mine has the 4.4 V8. A far superior engine to the one in the P38 and Disco 1 and 2. The diesels are not very common in NA. Have not calculated mileage yet but suspect about the same as P38. After 30 days I developed a suspension fault that I could clear by restarting the car
      Need to figure that out. Thanks for the suggestions on videos to watch.

    • @LandRoverDrive
      @LandRoverDrive  10 місяців тому

      @@gordonwedman3179 From what I have heard and read the 4.4 is the most solid engine ever put into a Land Rover. 😊 It’s the opposite over here, 99% with the TDV6. 😏 Get a readout of the fault codes, if it doesn’t lower or anything it could be the compressor running hot. 😊

    • @gordonwedman3179
      @gordonwedman3179 10 місяців тому +1

      @LandRoverDrive
      Never read anything bad about the 4.4. Hope you don't have the Lion engine! Often when I start the car the fault come up. When I restart it clears and the compressor runs. The scanned fault was "pressure rise too slow". Going to change the air drier. Checked the location of the inlet filter and not a speck of dust in that area so don't think it is a plugged inlet filter. Too hard to check on my car as it is behind the blower for the rear AC.

    • @LandRoverDrive
      @LandRoverDrive  10 місяців тому

      @@gordonwedman3179 Also check the air tank on the inside area against the chassis, I had a hole there because a rock had jammed and scraped away the paint. Video on that also on the channel. I think the compressor last a good 6-7 years if it's a good quality option, so either it's had it or I think there is something else.

    RR Classic's front license plate mount looks very vulnerable.

    • @LandRoverDrive
      @LandRoverDrive  10 місяців тому +2

      You quite right but I can’t recall why it was mounted there, maybe something to do with the winch mount. I will get Erik to enlighten us. 👍😊

    • @erikiversen4497
      @erikiversen4497 10 місяців тому +2

      Yes the license plate hangs very low on the classics. Looks even lower on mine because the front skirt plastic has been removed and the winch is pushing it a bit forward. But the plate is fixed with hinges to access the hidden winch and can be swang up and away if clerance is tight... normally the licens plate will fold a bit backwards insted of forward. This is not possible here due to the winch..
