The Merrel Moab I have not gotten yet. Would love to try them. Really like the oboz. Use them alot and still holding strong. Really tempted to get the full size boot version of them. Thanks for comment. 🙂
Enjoyed your presentation Martin I have a pair of the oboz shoes for a year and a half and I couldn't fault them. The best feature of the shoe that I find is the wide toe box which makes them so comfortable especially for people who have a wide foot. Seamus.
@@soletrail I have Kayland boots which I find very good . Through your presentation I will know what to look for when I go to getting my next pair of boots.Thank you .I n
@@gerkenneally5053 Kayland are solid boots. Really good. I have a new pair of Hanwag boots. Hanwag Nazcat boots. Incredible. Starting to break them in now.
Thank you for this review. I am debating to get this over the Vasque Breeze for my first time long hike to Mt Marcy in the Adirondacks in New York State. Cheers.
Great review mate. I’ve switched to these Oboz from wearing Moab’s for past 6 years. I can’t fault them they are so strong and comfortable and I’m just about to put them through the Australian summer to test the breathable fabric. Off topic slightly I recently wore them on a 17 hour flight from Dallas to Sydney sitting in economy and didn’t experience any foot swelling problems which speaks to the generous toe box.
Cheers Alan. These are my 1st pair and I'm very impressed by the build quality to be honest. Must check out more of their products. Even thou I can't buy any more shoes. I need more feet. 😂
Just got done with a 21 mile hike in these shoes. Very supportive--not very flexible (a good thing). I feel like they run just a smidge narrow for my relatively normal foot--but it wasn't bad. The soles are a hard rubber--so in the rain they were slippery on wet rocks. Feet stayed dry, and they were a solid choice. The soles seem hard-wearing, but I'd suggest another sole for wet-walking on rocky terrain.
Thanks for sharing your experience with the Oboz! . I agree with you on the wet rocks. Company's should stick to Vibram. I like the Oboz pattern though.

My all time favorite hiker. Outstanding support, durability, comfort, and traction. They hit all the boxes.
Great to hear. Solid make

Seamus.
Absolutely Seamus. Likewise I have a wide foot and it can be hard to find comfortable shoes. Love these. Built so so well aren't they.
Thank you Martin great presentation as always stay safe
Thanks Ger. What boots do you have?

Hey Raul. Happys days. They are a great shoe. Are you going for the shoe or boot? The build quality is excellent 👍👌

Sir, I believe the picture you showed was the mid top and I’m not sure if they make a high top
