Amanda, your level of energy is astounding! I was huffing and puffing just watching you work so hard! As usual, your gardens are stunning, including your gorgeous willow tree! It looks like it sprang from the pages of a story book! Wish I lived in your area and could enjoy your garden tour! Yours is sure to be everyone's favorite!!
I’m always a sweaty mess at the end of the garden day!
Doesn't it feel so good to get the spent blooms and weeds out of the garden. It makes the other plants feel like they can breath so much better. Enjoyed this video and you have a wonderful day.
Agreed!
Your visitors are going to love your stop on the garden tour. Enjoy!
I hope so too!
Amanda your garden looks amazing. Love watching!
Thank you so much!
Amanda I absolutely love your channel. I love that you share so much one each and every one of your videos. I hope your garden tour is a huge success. Happy Mother’s Day!
Thank you! You too!
I was nervous the entire time watching you garden in sandals LOL I was like please don't let there be a snake! Everything looks amazing, your yard will shine this weekend for the tour
I really do need to wear better footwear … I just feel uncomfortable with closed toe shoes 😬
Love how you are real. We all have weeds.😊
Lots of weeds!
Hope your garden tour was a great success. Your garden is gorgeous and so relatable. I think I have that same mystery vine growing in my yard.
The tour went great!
I hope your tour goes well and that you have lots of visitors.
Thank you!
watching from hertfordshire england, love your videos x
Hello over there!
I look forward to your videos and check for a new one everyday. Hope your allergies are better soon and the tour this weekend is fabulous. Happy Mother’s Day to you! ❤
Thank you! You too!
Hi, Amanda! I can't wait to see you and your garden on the tour this weekend! I follow several garden UA-camrs, but I greatly appreciate your channel because you're in my area. I'm in Frisco, so we have the same growing conditions. My current garden beds are mostly shade, but I am just starting one on the very sunny south side of my house and I'm so excited about my new possibilities! I especially love watching you succeed with plants that I have been told won't do well in my area, and that inspires me to give my garden dreams a shot. I also appreciate that you garden with a realistic budget like a typical home gardener and are open about your ups and downs. Thanks!
I’m so excited to meet you!
Hope your tour goes well 🪴
It went great!
I was sooooooo scared to see those shears b4 the garden tour🤣 The garden looks AMAZING the tour will be fabulous 💚💚💚💚
😂😂😂 you know I can be brutal when pruning!
Enjoy your garden tour and Mother's Day ❤
Thank you! You too!
Happy Mothers day!
Thanks and you too!
❤
🌷🌷😂
Hope the tour is as successful as you want! ⚾️
Thank you!
Oh no! Gotta get more Iris bulbs?!
Tip for additional anchoring focal points: put your black iron statuary/trellises into the center of the portions of the garden instead of the back against your brick walls.
That’s a good idea!
Relaxing watching you tidying up. Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of plants this year. Soooo a lot of my time is tidying up. ☺️ The spider mites are a pain in the butt. Wondering why we have such a battle with them in our area?
I wonder if it is because we have had such a warm spring.
@@shesamadgardener I have huge Boxwood trees that I groomed into tree forms. I trim the insides open so they have good air flow. Seems to work.
Would love to attend your garden tour next year is it through the Master Gardeners in your town?
It’s through the public library and benefits the library’s gardens!
At 13:00 what is that giant leaved lime green plant to the left? Not the abelia.
It’s a weeping red bud called Golden Falls.
Do you not spray at all for spider mites for environmental reasons? I feel like some Captain Jack's deadbug brew would help so much, but your garden looks incredible either way, so I could see not wanting to introduce any spray.
It’s more laziness than anything else …. I like to use a strong spray of water which helps quite a bit and I have used dead bug brew in the past with mixed results.
Could it be Morning Glory that vine in the back garden? …
Hmm, maybe!
First❤❤❤

Amanda, I live very near you and would love to come to the tour!! Can you tell me how to find out about it?
Never mind! I found it on your Instagram. :)
Amanda looks beautiful, sometimes I forget to snip plants for new blooms, thanks for the reminder, hope you get 100 or more in your garden this weekend isn’t it amazing the pansies are still growing strong and violas same here, I take care for pots at my church and there not giving up yet I’ve also got seeds from both, Happy Mother’s Day
Glad you found it!
Amanda how do you treat for fire ants? I see you sitting on the ground a lot so I figured you must have something. Here near Houston we'd never sit on the ground. LOL
I just spot treat as needed … usually with some kind of ant bait/killer … Amdro.
Cinnamon works for ants. They hate it.
Use cinnamon. When I know my 4 year old grandson is coming, I put it around his sandbox, etc.
Do you have mosquitoes? I’ve already started to get mosquito bites while gardening 😢
Not yet, but I will soon, I have no doubt … they usually start to get thick around July for me.
