Yea but he was having issues after this run with hitting em in the top left but other than that he was very consistent with em
I mean obviously he's better now than he ever was in his prime; but people still say shit like that cus his grip is also now worse than it ever was (top left, which I don't think ever existed in the past), so there are also scores in his prime that he struggles to replicate nowadays (like daisuke and yomi yori hr; the last time he tried em on stream at least)

@@hounsimo3296 in my opinion he is way better now, its just that he doesn't care about the game as much as he did before, so doesn't bother with pp. If you actually watch his streams and see what kind of maps he plays lmao, theyre all really hard tech maps or insane streaming which don't offer much pp. He's still at least top 10 in terms of all rounded/overall skills

@@gus9351 Not really, after having played so long, more than 10 years, in fact. Most people would've hit their peak and be stuck at improving. Take www for example. Shige, after 13 years of playing is still keeping up with the current best players and pushing his limits
@@gus9351 nah the musculature decay with age (from the prime of 18-20-ish) is real, though it only really shows for people who compete on the absolute edge like top contenders in any competitive field. Either he never went all out before, or never really trained as he does now, or is just so bloody talented that even with a suboptimal body he's clapping the game's cheeks lmao

a few months ago shige was discussing with chat why he didn’t farm and try to gain ranks. he responded that whenever he had decided he wanted rank one, he had been able to get it within 6 months. he didn’t want to because he had already shown he was the best. biggest chad response ever.

We're looking at a player who's a player who has been taking many breaks, and has been #1 since the earliest of the earliest days and he's still rocking it, being in the top 30.
I can only ever find respite in such chaotic mapping when shigetora is the one playing it.

I look at it like this, basic flow aim has consistent velocity and direction, flow aim is how "flowy" your aim can be.
The more "flowy" it is, the more flexible your aim can be.
Normal flow aim consistent velocity but changes direction this requires a bit of aim control.
Advanced flow aim changes velocity and direction mutliple times in one stream.
This Rubiks cube, quck changes in direction and flow aim velocity
Basically a death sentence if you are inexperienced with aim control which is required to consistently hit the changes in flow aim velocity.
Literally one of the best scores of all time actually unreal

HD makes flow aim, particularly flow ain like this map, exponentially harder even if you're used to it. All the speed, spacing and flow changes make maps like this hell to play with HD
