Yeah, it was a pain. Also, you can see it's about a 30 year old saw, so "precision engineering" turned into "Meh. Close enough." I had a circular saw, as well, but built the entire thing indoors. The jigsaw creates a lot less sawdust. Also, the dust just drops, rather than being blown around. Unfortunately, no power mitre saw, readily available
Ha, my old man did the same thing with some lumber he bought once. Held up an entire busy intersection for 10 minutes as he scrambled to fish up all the 2x4s he scattered lmao. Very nice table my man; a little fancier than my Walmart folding table 🤣
Yeah, it was a pain. Still, several nice people stopped and helped. I wouldn't say "Faith in humanity restored.", but it was nice of them. Thanks! This one's nice, but I still use a folding table, for a few things, too. "Live in the corner of a warehouse, and have room for all the hobbies!" = #Goalz 😆
Glad you like it! I'm planning on building a second, identical one. It'll be used to hold a laser engraver/cutter and a hot wire table. I've got big plans
Thanks! I was just going to get it set up, then move into more build videos. However, several folks have expressed an interest in seeing how I create the top part, so there will be at least one video about that. I hope you enjoy it
Thanks, Robert! I'm quite excited about the opportunities. Not only will I be able to get better camera angles, with better lighting, but I also have room to make much larger items. I really had fun with the Woodland Shrine, awhile back, and am eager to try more bigger builds such as that. Thanks for watching - Cross
Thanks, Quassi! Already in process of creating the... arch? Canopy? Roof? ... 🤔 It's more like a pergola, overhead. Anyway, I think it'll be pretty cool
That makes me a little jelly. Much of the impetus for the bigger, better bench is to up my video production levels. What you accomplish, at a kitchen table, leaves me in awe 😮
I used to ride a big boy, get out on the highway size scooter. I could easily fit it up on there. You know.... for the... ahem... (cough cough constant cough) repairs those things need. As it is, though, I plan on building more grandiose terrain than I've been used to
Definitely inspiring! Woodwork is intimidating to me but one of these days I will have to do some similar projects. Also, very interested in the PVC Camera Rigs. You going to be showing us that?
Thanks! It really does help, having a solid workspace. I am going to add those "kick down" wheels, so I can move it. Other than that, super happy with it
Nice work man, looks awesome.
Thanks! I'm so glad you like it
@@CampaignTerrain Doing all the cuts with a jigsaw is some real dedication also. MVP to you sir.

Its a cool project mate! The extra storage space will come in handy!
Thanks, Slavko! Hoping so. 🤞🏼 It will, at least, allow my most used tools and EQ to be near at hand, whilst crafting

Damn, no wonder you've been so darned busy. That's quite the ambitious project

Great job! Looking forward to more updates.

Nice work with this workbench . Should bring us some cool projects ! Cheers , Robert .

I can't wait to see the finished table. I hope your new equipment helps you with making better videos.

Amazing I finally got to see this build
Glad you like it, Jon. I think it will be a super useful upgrade
Cross..... that table is class! Love it mate! Honestly I'm a bit jealous now, Im still working off my kitchen table 😪

@@CampaignTerrain Dude, its all tricks. I'd be happy to chat through some stuff if you want ;)
Expect it! I'd love some help, mate
Awesome. I grossly underestimated the size of the surface. You could get 2 transmissions up there no sweat. :-D

That's a good work table man. Looking forward to see what you build on it :) Gimme a shout if you need a hand setting up a stream.
Thanks! Oh, I definitely plan on hitting you up. I've got a pretty good understanding, but a few things utterly vex me
Definitely inspiring! Woodwork is intimidating to me but one of these days I will have to do some similar projects. Also, very interested in the PVC Camera Rigs. You going to be showing us that?
I'm so glad! And thank you for saying. I love to inspire. 😀 I hadn't been planning to, but I certainly could. 🤔 Sure! I can do that
Very nice. I like it. My space is an absolute nightmare. I changed it 3 times in the past year.
Thanks! It really does help, having a solid workspace. I am going to add those "kick down" wheels, so I can move it. Other than that, super happy with it
Nice job. It can be intimidating but it looks great!
Thanks! The main problem was not much space to work in. Ironically, that's the exact thing this project is helping to solve 😄
