    Zard exhaust systems are Phenomenal alright.I heard one on a Trident 🔱 like mine it sounded magnificent & could hear it over the Harley boy's.
    This bike is Triple Wahoo.

      Probably lighter if 216kg wet weight is stock number with Zard exhaust system that'll remove 8-10kg probably.

      Have never heard or rode a Zard I didn't like. Yes, definitely lighter too. Wahoo!

    Looks like you need to trade your current Triumph for this! I rode one at Americade in Lake George, NY in June, then went back the next day & rode it a 2nd time I was so impressed. Amazing torque & twisting that throttle - wow, shockingly good power, kind of a sleeper when parked beside the regular T100 & T120s. Gauges are beautiful. On the short list for sure! Thanks for the great video. Cheers, Ronny

      That is a very beautiful, passionate riding motorcycle for sure. Wahoo!

      I missed Americade this year, I heard it wasn’t as good as normal though because they had to change the date…

    I might have missed it, but what tune did you use? The bikes don't tune themselves, and these Euro5 motors run lean AF from the factory, so an exhaust is gonna make it even worse...

    • @forgottenmotorcycles
      @forgottenmotorcycles  Рік тому +1

      I'm not sure what tune it has. That would be a good question for Baxter Cycle mechanics, I'll ask. The bike seemed to run great all the way from idle to redline. I'm sure it was worked up proper. Think I'm asking they right person here...Which bike do you like better, the Speed Twin or the Street Triple? Thanks!

      @@forgottenmotorcycles If I had to choose one bike between the two of them, the Street Triple RS. It's actually more comfortable, it's faster, it handles better and has a much better electronics package.
      The Speed Twin is brilliant, especially once you replace the stock suspension with something better, but if you want a comfortable sport bike, the Street Triple RS wins hands down. If you want a retro cruiser, that you can still go play on, then the Speed Twin is likely th better fit.
      And if the mechanic tells you that it "adjusts itself"... It doesn't, and personally I would question that mechanic's knowledge of such things... Triumphs have never had that ability. You can let it idle for 12 minutes to reset the crank position sensor, the throttle position sensor and the short term idle trims, but that's it. If the fueling is off, it stays off until you tune it properly.... Will be curious to see what they say.

      The street triple is probably one of the funnest motorcycles I've ever rode. Her looks bothered me at first, I've gotten over that. Love the way the Street twin looks and her performance is great fun. Thanks!

      @@forgottenmotorcycles I’m actually going from a street triple RS to the speed twin. The street triple is the best bike I’ve ever rode, but it’s just too uncomfortable to ride compared to the speed twin. If you like going on long trips the striple is just not comfortable in my opinion. The striple is obviously faster, but speed isn’t everything. The speed twin is a lot punchier down low than the striple. The only way I’d choose the street triple over the speed twin, would be if I was tracking the bike, or had great back roads to rip down all day. Best advice I can give you is to test ride both bikes, only you can decide.

      I’m you’re feeling a bit better. Good idea to take it easy in the Summer’s heat & humidity.

    I can’t remember if you ridden the Speed Twin 900, but is it less top heavy than this bike?

    • @forgottenmotorcycles
      @forgottenmotorcycles  Рік тому +1

      I've rode the Street Twin 900, now called the Speed Twin 900, and think that it seems lower than the 1200. These differences are very small and only noticed when looking for them. Overall, these bikes handle very well. Wahoo!

      Wow!! yes please, could you please provide part # for the saddlebags and panniers? I know is a set of Panniers with the Triumph Bags, but from which model? I read somewhere from a Thruxrton? I bought a 2023 Speed Twin and I am in love with it, just need those bags and I am done!
