The void left open by Harley Davidson for a smaller displacement neo retro classic looking motorcycle with the departure of the air cooled 883CC and 1200CC XL Sportster models is opening the door to classic European brands here in the United States. Great Britain's Triumph has managed to update and maintain their relevance with Euro 5-6-7 compliance offerings. The red tape that supposedly caused Harley to kill off the XL Sportster has not stopped Triumph from releasing new models and the Speed Twin 1200 is their high-performance offering in their Bonneville range. Come along with me as I rip this cafe racer through the streets of downtown Orlando, Florida and then onto the most dangerous highway in America, Interstate 4!.

Hey. How would you compare the power of this to the hd low rider? I have a ‘19 speed twin and thinking about trading it in for the lrst. I’ve been doing more longer highway stuff and would appreciate the fairing of the lrst, but don’t want to lose out on the power and twisty fun of the speedy. If I could I’d keep the triumph but alas no room.
