Agreed. I just can't really get into the breakcore at the moment. How DnB has branched out and what is 'popular' is not what is good about DnB. Although some of the new ambient jungle guys out there like Diffusion X, ASC and Aural Imbalance are doing some great stuff. And then Lordkeksz makes a comeback!!!

@@gplastic Sure, but for me now with ambient jungle it's like a continuation of the Tayla and LTJ Bukem stuff which was out at the same time as Ed Rush and Optical, Bad Company or Decoder stuff, for example, as the other golden era DnB was growing and developing. It still has the complexity and layers that make it really ace. Also in my 40s now, I couldn't listen to the harder DnB every day at home after work every day, whereas the new ambient jungle stuff is perfect. There is a guy called 'Firewalker' on here and he does some 'low poly mixes' which are perfect to have in the background in the evenings. Oh how I wish to go back to the days of mixing on decks with my brother on a Friday night and going record shopping in Sheffield in my lunchtime to dispel the boredom of working in a bank.
